HISTORY sure
Please dubb it in bengali language.
Have you considered release a few "Full Episodes?" There's so much that we are missing. Even if it were the older seasons. Please!
can we have a 2 v 2 contest :D it will be so much fun to watch i can stop watching your episodes
Main attraction of the show dough and his kill test
Plot twist: Doug uses the kill tests to satisfy his bloodlust and keep him from going berserk on the human race
😂
I thought I was the only one with this thought. 🤣
That's not a plot twist that's just facts
this is canon
Correct, he told me.
Doug - "it will..
Audience -"say it"
Doug - keel.."
Audience - "yayyy...!"
@Opamigaaa Don't worry heard they have an opening for dummies to test blades. Sign up for it & go first you won't ever have to hear him say it I promise.
@@zinnyc6757 ''LIKE WHAT I LIKE OR DIE REEEE''
ZinNYC lol even tho I disagree with Opamigaa, he’s entitled to his own opinion. And saying that to him cause he don’t agree with you? Your sick bro
It's the only reason I watch the show hes so weird but funny
He said the thing! He said the thing
The amount of respect on this show is so great to see. No hate, no ego, just passion for what they are doing. Love it.
It really is a pleasure to see someone go up there and not have a confederate flag strapped to their back screaming MAGA and we can all enjoy their respect and actual personality
And also good judgment
Maybe i should change my hobby and passion from video games to blade smithing
@@_Grimm333_ its less toxic
kinda thought about smithing just for fun myself, but it sure aint cheap tog et the right materials
Perfectly said bro,and very unbiased opinions. The best blade always wins. I love how they are real and don’t pick favorites
Humble and passionate contestants. Knowledgeable and fair judges. Exciting and creative tests.
Best. Competition show. Ever.
I love this show! Now all they need to do is release a few full episodes. There is SOOO much more to this show.
And of course
"It will keal"
My girlfriend and I are mesmerised by forges/bladesmithing because of this show. Man at arms is also pretty great too. Shows like this are slowly coming through into the UK and its great!
Try ru Paul drag race
My ex and I would binge this show all the time, it was a great compromise between something I find interesting and the cooking shows she enjoyed lol
I don't know why I smile when I hear doug say "it will keeel"
Who doesn’t
Because he smiles like an excited puppy when he says it, so it's impossible not to do the same
Don’t worry, we all do :))
my favorite things about Forged in Fire is how little drama there is on the show among the constants and judges. They're all so respectful and constructive. .
Yesss I watched inkmaster, too many prissy fights 🤢
If F&F was *as dramatic as* The Kardashians, the contestants would start hacking each other with their weapons. ☠
@@angel-og.8261 dude, i watched a portion of a recent episode, it made me cringe so hard...
@@z.niamut4045 I'd pay to see that ngl.
@@ImZiki
You'd hear Doug say: "he got keeyled" whenever someone dies. 😹😹
Seeing blades break is heartbreaking. :(
That crystalline sound is worse
I feel awful for them when that happens 💔😢😭
Yes like I be feeling like crying sometimes 😂😂😂
The first claymore episode hurt on a physical level
Contestants take the heart break well and the experts are equally as gutted but give amazing advice
51:32 I kid you not...I was thinking how I'd love to hear Doug say Inigo Montoya's line from The Princess Bride.....and HE ACTUALLY SAID IT!!! Doug is officially the coolest guy on the planet.
Haha, he truly is!
I had no idea a rapier could be used to slash.
@@seanrosenau2088 "With a swish of a slash!"
@@seanrosenau2088 it’s a blade for gods sake they didn’t just walk around poking everything.
@@BlakeGibbons exactly stabbing is only usfuel if u stab the right spot slashing wil actualy make u bleed
What's funny is I have nothing invested in any of these blades, but I can feel the anxiety building in me during the testing, especially the strength tests!
That's everyone's case
Normal human behavior
And that goes double when J is the one doing it
Yeah, especially that rapier test
The purpose of this show is just so that Doug can find the best smith to make him the perfect sword to dominate mankind.
One day...
He will find the perfect blade... to KEAL.
you know how many weapons theyve had turned in? they could arm all the peasants
Just what my 4 years old kid said about this show 😂😂
I love seeing the competitors revert to the child-like excitement when their blades absolutely decimate the dummies. Especially when they grab each other's arms/shoulders, or when they hi-five, etc.
Everybody on this show has fun.
Word.
One thing I absolutely love about this show (among many things) is the sportsmanship and humility between competitors. It’s fantastic to see.
Wil always hitting a catastrophic failure competitor with the disappointed father look. Hurts every time.
Doug: "your weapon.. will keal"
me: *gulps*
To everyone complaining that they aren't using the swords for practical purposes, read this:
The competition, first of all, was made to test swordsmiths to their limits. If you're just using the swords practically, none of the flaws in the smithing will be seen. This means there is no true loser or winner, unless the smith made a major mess up. Second of all, it's Reality TV. It's supposed to be entertaining. People who watch the show are looking for something different than everything else already online and on TV about swords.
5:10 "I came here to prove that I can work with the big dogs" immediately cuts to showing how short he is.
classiest competition show on TV. This is how you win and lose with dignity and respect.
how to remove ads

Yo! Game changer. I'd give you 2 thumbs up if I could.

using that when i'm on my phone for sure... on the computer just use ad block
@@SycsFinest this is why you need to remember to bring both thumbs along your way
@Dragonoma thanks a lot
Doug Marcaida is poetry in motion, I like the slow motion action that shows his form all the way through the test.
24:38 Doug is here just to quench his bloodthirst😂😂
Doug has the best job ever.
Where the application so I can fill it out
Probably wait for them to notice your comment xD
@@shawtyduwop3076 You got to do a few years of armed martial arts training, or weapon master training to be hired as a sword demonstrator on a TV show like that, for image and safety.
The quality of that cutlass was godlike
Everybody is always talking about how useless the kill test is, because, yes of course every weapon will kill, but the kill test is to show if the weapon fulfills it's purpose, like if a specific weapon can chop off heads
Ikr and its so cool to watch
I agree! Aside from Doug's signature "it will KEEEL" remark; I always am excited with Doug's observations and comments, the man knows his stuff! 👏 👍
I honestly think it's so Doug can say what's going on with the blade in terms of oddities and weight so the other judges know what to expect
Some weapons didn't pass the kill test, like the crossbow and claymore one...
I've seen some rare ones when Doug says ... It will NOT KEEL
The moment the words "Ready As I'll Ever Be" leave a contestants mouth, their blade is jinxed.
This show brings back an important part of history , that is swordsmen and swordsmakers , because human history was made by the sword , whether our stomach can take that or not !
54:54 classic quote
I'm italian, so it took me so much time to understand it before turning on the subtitles. After that, i loved it 😂
we’re all here for the one hour straight of “it will keeel”
indeed
indeed
Nah
@@reeeeeee4831 INDEAAAAAD were all here to see doug do the KEAAAL test
facts
Doug: "It will KEEL!"
Us: "YES, BLOOD!"
Jason's cutlass is amazing. Impressive kill test result, survived the strength test, looks nice and yet light and well balanced. Impressive all round craftsmanship.
that bend test has to be the roughest event it just launches my anxiety like a rocket
Agreed
I wanna see Doug with a rifle. He is without a doubt a bladed weapons expert
He was in the military too, bet he'd put most to shame with a rifle as well
1 hour of. . .it will KEEEELLL. . .LOVE IT
I think the bend test for the rapiers was the most nerve racking and hardest thing to watch then any ice block chop. That poor guy, it didn’t go back to true enough for him to continue competing even though it didn’t break!
19:52 "From the snotter to the trotter" is my new coffee phrase.
From the rooter to the tooter is another one
47:00 really felt that Thomas one.
yeah for sure
It felt that Thomas had the lighter, sharper and better sword.
Didn't understand why Thomas lost. I'll have to find the episode so I can see what happens from beginning to end.
4:00 - “Mission failed! We’ll get em next time!”
I'm a little bit jibbery. love the old guy. 😂
Doug looks so happy to be doing his job.
I love the first guy he gives off such chill grandpa vibes
And of course you need one at this stage of life
Everytime I watch, I just want to hear Doug say "It will keal..." with his humble smile. I got goosebumps.
They should get all the winners and put their blades to the final test. A battle royale.
That would make no sense haha
i do not think the blades they already made... but make them make new ones. and go for a title of Ultimate Chamion (and 100k mons to motivate)
4:00, imagine the other guy's blade also flew out when used. He was just so lucky he wasn't the first in line.
I love seeing them compliment each other
I love this show and the craft men and women and pushing them out of their comfort zones
27:15 it is a wonderful sword young sir🙂
27:24 your sword is a catastrophic failure sir!🤷♂️
38:56 Look at that gorgeous smile, the wheel of pain makes me feel so uncomfortable.
I love this show and just about everyone in the competition is a cool dude.
Also seeing someone fails to met the parameters/catastrophic failure make me sad, i want them all to make it to the end.
😭😭😭🐷
11:55 that's some deep words sir. Your words sir, "they will motivate".
31:50 I think I peed a little
I was so scared when the blade broke and almost sliced the Judges neck!!!! @27:24
Right! Had me wondering why they don't use protective gear
4:02 I see that cheeky smirk Doug
I like the "ching" and other sounds they add to make it more dynamic
Oh wow. The bend test is brutal. Im amazed how some blades manage to remain straight.
12:06 - " .....it will determine real quick how you've been heat treated throughout your life." - Excellent analogy.
"Your blade is sharp, it will keel"
I love the way he says "will kill"
I'd like to thank my family, my wife, and the other guy for over sharpening his edge so it rolled.
I love how they stick to appropriate items/materials available on the particular era to test those weapons with, good job!
People really underestimate how much protection a shirt gives from a blade. Those swords would have CLEAVED through the dummies if they didn’t have the cloth in between them and the blade.
Doug's job here is so much fun. All men wants to swing any sword against anything really.
It looks fun to be a tester
He's enjoying the KEAL tests a lot... I would too.
I love Dave ❤ he is so much my type lol but I'm here for the "it will keel"
I think you mean Doug... he's the "It will keal" guy... Dave is the one in the middle
@@Supergamer-hu5mp I think you don't have any reading comprehension ^^
I wish I could love anything as much as Doug seems to love his job.
The first one the kid was young he’ll be a great blade smith with more experience
30:47 reference to Charlemagne´s sword, the guy doesn´t guy it
what
Charlemagne's sword was named Joyeuse. "Merry" (feminine) in french.
Bonus fact : Arguably, Joan of Arc might have had a vision about where the sword was buried, and found it near a church
This show is so cool.. i like the level of respect these men have for each other
0:09 I feel for that very first guy. 😭
45:04 "these SAL-MINS!"😆😂😆😂😆😂
i'm suprised the judges even tested a cavalry sword that could fly out of your hand. The handle on the first sword was DANGEROUS
This show is so full of positivity and presenting weapons . Really different show .
Do not mistake what I am saying as an insult to their skill because they are all very talented, but I truly do not understand why anyone makes a round handle on anything that is not supposed to be specifically designed that way.
I think a lot of these guys make display weapons because basically no one actually uses swords any more. You can see how a lot of the round grips are also more decorative.
Its the ease of construction, round handle are cheaper and easier to make and maintain
Thank Y'all for Sharing,
If that guy wants a

Your noose sir, will...........keel

when he says : will kheel 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️👌👌
La disciplina de los concursantes y los jueces es maravillosa, este programa es de los mejores de history
Doug had a pirate ancestor who tested his ship. After testing he said " It will KEEL- haul."
Hmm... Jade Rebellion? :D
We want a compilation of keel test only ☺️☺️
Uploaded just 20 minutes ago i am going to watch the whole damm thing
27:26 it’s at this moment that i’m amazed this judge still has the capacity to shake this contestants hand. i mean obviously there’s some dramatisation to this television show, but i mean when the whole blade just snaps off...is there not some sort of potential for it to ricochet and seriously injure someone on the set? some mistakes and errors in design i think are forgivable, others however (such as this one) where someone’s safety is at risk due to the contestants negligence in the weapons construction i just think is inexcusable
54:55
What? :D
the first guys were so supportive of eachother
Where are your eyes?
One single mistake and you can lose
I don't get how Thomas lost at 47:00. All the compliments, the way it functioned, the fact that it beat his competitors blade in every category of the test. This should have easily gone to him. His blade was vastly superior.
He didn't meet parameters -- they shouldn't have tested it at all
Lmfaoooo the face he made when he took a drink XD
That Spanish judge is so respectful. Always with a smile
I think he's a Filipino
Doug Marcaida
I agree. He is a respectful . My come from in martial arts back ground .
Doug Marcaida is a martial artist, edged weapons specialist, and knife designer born in the Philippines.
He’s not Spanish.
The show is so cool such great competition and great focus and work it's hard to stop watching
POV: You're the training dummy and Doug comes up to you with a meaty sword.
The more enthusiastic he is about a weapon, the more enthusiastic the "KEAL" lol...
4:30 This is why the Japanese katana can have its handle held by just a single small wooden pin, even through battle. The fit is so snug and glove tight it negates how the break happened.
Maybe if Dan spent more time fitting his guard instead of cutting fake scars into his eyebrow he would have won.
He clearly hit the METAL STAND and now he goes home for a clear and obvious ERROR on behalf of the team. The first one!
The second blade on the horse skull hit the pole then broke! He definitely got ripped
What I took away from this is “sabres for the win”
This show is so wholesome
28:59 did he ever get his belt buckle
To be fair, i think he could make his own if need be.
Chris tried but it was his backyard small forge compared to the literal warehouse john had lol
IT WILL KEEEEELLLL
The first guy is so adorable and wholesome.
that sword did not bend from the spine. it bent from hitting the metal pole BEHIND THE spine.
