    🤔 Let's shine a spotlight on one particular condition: Piriformis Syndrome.
    The piriformis muscle is a small, yet mighty muscle tucked away deep in your buttock. Running from the base of your spine and attaching to the outer thigh bone (femur), it's a key player in your mobility.
    But here's the deal: sometimes, the sciatic nerve, your body's longest nerve, can get a little too close for comfort to the piriformis muscle. When that happens, it can be a real pain... literally! 🙅‍♂️
    Typical Piriformis Syndrome causes and risk factors include:
    🔸️Sitting for long periods of time
    🔸️Lifting heavy objects and/or weightlifting
    🔸️Repetitive activities (including long-distance running, walking and climbing stairs)
    🔸️Over exercising
    🔸️Poor muscle fitness
    PS can usually be treated with self-care and at-home exercises:
    🔹️Avoid activities that trigger pain
    🔹️Maintain proper posture when sitting, standing and driving
    🔹️Hip mobility exercises
    🔹️Exercises to strengthen the hip abductors
