Watching you guys drill the oil pan was more tense/suspenseful than any thriller movie haha! Great install guys, will definitely be rewatching this as I work on my Kraken install.
Glad I was able to help. I will post a follow up video soon on what I have learned since the install. For example, the stock fuel pump gave out and had to put in a better one. I will also post more tutorials soon. Let me know if there’s anything you have a question on.
Thank you. We made a straight pipe section of exhaust to swap out the muffler as needed. It’s a little loud without the muffler but good for the track.
Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get an aluminum radiator next on the list... the original plastic ones suck and if you don't have a reroute, that turbo will probably get your engine warm pretty quick. Great video!
Already done. Since the video I added heat shielding around the down pipe and air filter, plus added an aluminum radiator. I will be posting a follow up video soon with the updates. Thanks for watching!
Megasquirt 2. In the beginning of the video I review all the prep work done prior to turbo. Please feel free to message me on Instagram for any detailed questions. nb.clay

Is there anyway for the intercooler piping on the turbo to be out of the way? on the bottom side, can u just flip the turbo so it points down instead of up?
There are kits that clock the turbo down to have the pipe lower but I don’t think there’s any gain except the look. I chose Kraken because the manifold flows better, they have a 3” down pipe, an amazing 3” exhaust option, and better quality on the fab work. I have added heat shields and an aluminum radiator since this video was made. I’ll post a follow up video with what I have learned and the tweaks I have made since the install. Thanks for watching.
@@paezracingtexas8301 I think your build looks good, the only thing that i would want different is that one hose, just for the looks, so I was curious about that.
Yea, I thought about that too, but have been very happy with this kit. I did have to trim some inner hood support as that hose did rub a little. I may be adding some hood vents.
Konig Countergrams 15 x8, Falken RT660 tires 205 50 15. Soon will be putting in some fender flares and bumping up to a 15x10 with same wheels and tires but a 255 40 15.
Killer install video man!
Thank you, it’s such a great kit!
Oh Papa came to say hi

I know right. And to top it the drill wasn’t working good.
Just got my top mount 2554r kit for my godly 1.6, pretty excited after watching this!
You’ll love it!

So good! Great install video, you showed all the tricky parts. And that exhaust is 🔥
Glad you liked it!
Awesome install dude! The car sound dope!

Definitely worth it!
Let’s run it!

@@paezracingtexas8301 Awesome - looking forward to it! Also one question - were the turbo drain plug, tap, and bits included in the kit?
Yes, the bit and tap came with the kit. For the money, the best kit out there! Make sure to get the 3” exhaust, it is awesome!!!!!
Great Video bro, I just bought my own kit. Is there a way you can share your tuning maps? I would like to see/install your final tune!
Great video. Did you have issues fitting the silicone coupler on the Skunk2 TB or just issues fitting the clamp that came with the kit?
Yes I had to heat it up and use wd40. That’s why the cut is a little wonky
👏👏👏👏
Thank you
What kit is this exactly?
Did the kit come with an ECU? If not, what are you running?

youre gonna need to upgrade that radiator if you havent already to make sure the car stays cool with the turbo

@@paezracingtexas8301 was the heat shield on the down pipe for the brake res? if not you need one
Did you buy your kit with ac hot side piping? And what size intercooler did you get, 5 or 7? Thanks!
Yes, came with the pipes. 7” intercooler.
@@paezracingtexas8301awesome thanks! And did your car run fine on the stock ms3 map? Did you have to get it professionally dynoed?

how long was shipping?
It took about 2 months from the time we ordered, but I think he was waiting on parts before shipping. The time in transit was probably about 2 weeks.
hey man what are the wheel and tire specs?

Did have to roll fenders a bit because I run the car pretty low.
