- When I purchased my Talon 1000R, the wheel alignment was 2 inches off and the passenger wheel was rubbing on the lower control arm. It scraped off all the black paint from the wheel. The wheel will be replaced through warranty because I noticed before leaving. Why am I doing this myself instead of Honda via warranty? They confirmed that they don’t have an alignment machine and I feel I’ll be more thorough because it’s my machine.

I searched this video because my new talon was so obviously out of toe. Must be well over 1" toe out. I thought it felt awful squirrelly on our first trip to the OHV park.
Anyway, great demo on how to align it at home.

Honda service manual says 0" toe in for the specification.
Yep, and it handles much better toed in. Try it and see what feels better for you and the tires you have. I run mine at 1/8 to 1/4 toed in.
I did notice mine pulled to the right a little. I guess i need to check that now. It seem like ingot better after i took it through a hardcore trail
bishop198666 Is definitely check it. I’ve adjusted my 3 times in the last year. I recommend checking it every 1200 miles when you change the oil

My talon was just over 1.5” toe out. Ridiculous

They don’t come from factory like that it comes on a truck in a crate and it gets out together
Justin Bennington The Talon comes with the wheels on it and aligned from the factory. It wasn’t properly aligned at the factory.
Justin is correct. They show up in a crate. No roll cage mounted. No wheels mounted. No seats installed.
The dealership that employs the 3 high school dropouts that can identify a philips head screwdriver is where the unit receives final assembly.
Mooseknuckle _44 Wrong, the talons are not crated up, they are driven off the semi that delivers them.
