Before you cook the rice your supposed to break it up while the packet is closed by squeezing it in the packet between your theme and fingers. It works

This is my first voyage in the new ship. Firstly; I am always a sucker for a gaff rig and tan sails (I know they're red, but go with it for now): and secondly, that is very useful info re the almanac and GPS waypointing of buoyage, we are all learning much from the Master Mariner.
By the way (and I'm not suggesting that my comments are actually any good) but you may not be aware that if you give a comment you approve of a 'like' at your end, it tells the commentor it was deemed complimentary/useful/contributive or whatever .... this can then engender a general sense of comraderie/affable bonhomie/channel loyalty between the viewership and the author of the video, thus encourageing engagement, and building a followship sort of thing. Sorry to harp on Sir. Kind regards.

Simon, going from nothing to coastal is a big step, could you consider getting a day sail boat, and trying it with a friend or associate who can ween you into it in non threatening non-tidal lake waters in the first instance, and see how it goes over a few years or so? Kind regards.

@@onanysundrymule3144 thanks for the reply , i know you are right though seeing these videos from people like Dylan and patrick laine make it look so easy i dream i could do it . Its more solitude than adventure i seek . the navigation intrigues me now i wish to understand tides, weather and planning routes better , should keep my mind occupied , any tips ?

@@SonOfAnders73 Hi Simon, look for a local sailing club or boat hire place, ask for an introductory tutored sailing lesson (at a fee), then progress to solo hourly/afternoon sailing Dinghy hire, you could approach the 'royal yachting association' who do skippership courses etc, then progress to dinghy ownership, see the 'dinghy cruising association' etc, all over a matter of time you understand, check out dinghy cruising/camping on UA-cam, now get those Google searches up and running Sir. I was lucky, school sea scouts got me started. Good luck and Best regards.
