A rating system for messages like the "fine" and "poor" system in Souls would be an easy avenue for more engagement on the app itself. I love the idea!
Great idea, I think having a different coloured icon that reflects a messages rating will be good to save time so users don't have to check their phone for useless messages. Green icon for good rated all the way to red for bad.
Tbh it’s unreasonable expecting someone will be using the app while walking to see the messages, so I believe a really cool feature would be allow notifications and sounds and the app running background so when a user stumble across a message, he’s notified and the message is shown as a notification and if the user wants to rate it, he opens the app.
I think it would be enjoyable if the messages were only written in the dark souls format. With preset sentences and a bunch of words to fill out the blanks for your message. Or atleast have a mode where you can only see and write messages as such.
