I'm really happy about how recently, the youtube algorithm has been recommending me smaller channels like you so I'm going to sub. You got chill vibes and you just give out your own reasonable takes and opinions which is refreshing over the sea of well edited video essays...
It is really sad to see the transformation of MrBeast from a guy doing silly stuff / reacting to absurd things in his room to this corporate, soulless entity. The golden days of MrBeast was when he did crazy things in his room like counting to 100000, watching that cringe logan paul song "it's every day bro" or whatever for 24 hours, and my favorite series of his videos back then were his cringe intro series where kids would make stupid intros and we'd laugh and cringe at them together. I also liked his little quirks he had like giant asian sticker and the few edgy jokes he had like Clorox bleach and all that stuff, gives character but isn't over the top with his edginess.
I look back to those videos fondly reminding me that the guy had a soul, personality and humble beginnings after seeing what he has become now. It was a pretty hard decision to unsubscribe from him about 2 weeks ago but he has pretty much gone too far, his fame has really gone into his head. Silencing / suing his critics, his inhumane practices in videos and all this corporate / business bs even though he's already rich af, among other controversies. The guy has pretty much sold his soul to the devil and lost any ounce of relatability...
I don't really have an opinion about Logan Paul or KSI because I never really cared about them, but MrBeast was someone I used to look up to and relate with... Too bad he turned out like this... And this transformation of his sure is a bad precedent of how youtubers are going to be in the future...

Honestly it's pretty sad ho big popular youtubers are just making businesses that benefit them and act like it'll be good for others when in reality that's not what's happening. Since this controversy I've been focusing on smaller channels who act more normal and talk about life. it's clear that the big UA-camrs just want to be the next celebrities and it's just hurting the reputation at this point
