1453 damage! 9kmd. Okay I am so impressed, I have invested a considerable amount of time in this game and I know how difficult it is to get constant good scores, but high damage is a balance between canny skills, overt bravery and incredible luck. Mr B seems to develop all three, respect my friend. Keep up the excellent work. Pligh
As someone who grew up playing Mechwarrior II, I love seeing the Clan assault mechs rock out, especially the Marauder IIC and Dire Wolf. That first game was awesome! Mech build request: How would you build a Summoner with the current state of MWO? I recognize it's not a top tier mech, but it's an old favorite and I'd like to see what you can do with one
My favourite was lasvomit build: 2xHLLs in side torsos and 4xERML in arms. For me it worked much better than lasvomit Hellbringer, to my surprise, and is my fave Clan heavy. Classic 2xERPPC build still works fine too, but you need to be an eagle eye and positioning guru to make it worth its weight. It is also decent with ATMs, but Huntsman or Hunchy is more optimal choice for a missile boat. For me Summoner is a top-tier mech and I used it in faction play too (and it worked better than my Hellbringer or Sun Spider). It carries less firepower, but has MUCH better agility and actually usable jump jets. Just try to climb different obstacles in testing grounds, half an hour of fooling around there will help you to bring this firepower where it is not expected to appear.
@@tutzdesYT That first build sounds rather interesting. I've been on a heavy laser kick lately (I straight copied Bara's beam spam builds for the Hunchback IIC and Marauder IIC) and putting more of those onto the field sounds good to me. Thanks for the advice!
I wasn't sure if I would like this daily dose as much because it's another Marauder IIC video, but that was actually pretty cool. Thanks for the video.
Think id still opt to use a tcomp of some sort, extra range for the ermeds and velocity on the ppcs while giving some crit and information gathering time bonuses.
Try a ANH-1E with 8 med pulse and 35 STD HS filling the crit slots + the 10 in the engine. it runs so cool and your able to alpha at least 4 times before you have to either override pop some cool aid or shut down can run a std 285 and take a few speed tweaks perks to make its top speed 48.3.
I run quad too, 2x torso and 2x arm. And one ML in the other arm. The heat mgmt is rather good actually, if you know what you're doing, but you do need to land close to every one of those shots though.
Sucks how IS double heat sinks takes so much space. Ive got an awsome and a battlemaster that stacks 30-35 standard heat sinks total includeing engin. IS setups just feels so weired for instance when I'm building orion 1v comparied to my Timberwolves and the amount of spending on engines I make just to tinker with builds to get something decent. The cost of switching between heatsink typs ive already paid for dont help either.
@@GeneralAdvance He dropped two artillery and used two coolshots which will carry even the worst builds (also Bara's skill in the first match really helped). PPC's are the least efficient weapons in the game in terms of damage/heat and dps/weight.
True, I run quads and even then you need to land every single shot and fire a lot to get a decent score. Granted, I do run a avg 800dmg on it, I really need to up the game to stay there with it. Another problem with PPCs are they often hit walls or ground where other weapons would get trough easely.
@@KjetilBalstad You average 800 damage? That's genuinely impressive. I average 600 with a 6 lb2-x, 5 mpl dire wolf. Are you getting that stat the same way as me? I take (damage done/matches played) from profile -> 'mech stats.
Baradul: ''This is not how you Locust''
me in any fast light mech: *confused potato noises*

Omg that 1st round was something called MADNESS!!!! BEAUTIFUL roundd, beautiful dmg
Sure the PPC might make your hitbox's worse and have less convergence, BUT IT LOOKS SO COOL UP THERE! 10/10, totally worth the trade-offs.
That first game may well be the biggest Quickplay game I've ever seen. Well done, Bara.
Never would have thought of doing 2xERPPC 6xERML. Noice.
Great build. Love where the PPCs are located, like a P-38's guns. Perhaps remove two MLasers? Add another heat sink?
Awesome first round too.
"That is not how you Locust."
*12 damage later*
No. Definitely not. However, that was definitely an object lesson in how to Piranha from elHolgre.
It looks so good with that ER PPC in the high hardpoint. Like a sniper rifle with legs.

The heat management is awesome. It looks like you have a continuous coolshot, Bara.
Omg what a turn around in the first game. Like the build
10:42 Happy little fuel tank

Baradul's mechs gain side torso armor quirks when he climbs in the cockpit, the game knows he'll need them for carrying his team.
First round is the best MWO round I've ever seen. Whoa!!!
The first part was epic.
Two games, 2500 points, 14 KMDD .. and impressive showing.
and 23/24 kill involvement. so it isn't like he was purely focused on those KMDDs either...
Maaan! That was spectacular :) And the Maradeur IIC is the sexiest mech in the game :)

Holy carry on the first game! GJ
That's a crazy first game 👏👏👏👏
I feel like you read my mind sometime because I was just experimenting with a marauder iic with quad ppc torso mounted the other day

This is why Snuggles time loves the scorch
Totally different builds on the Scorch though...but yeah its one of the top 5 mechs imo
monster damage o7 have fun in the NL =)
Ok, wow, I have to rebuild that Mech NOW. 9 kmdd is amazing.
Had that once in a Vindicator..
tha
The heat dissipation is so fast, the coolshot is not really that much faster. Wow.
AoS should really trigger on KMDD
1.4k dmg, 9 kmdd? Holy shit, I'm going to have to save some c-bills for this build.
Like the guy in the 2. round said...they nascared us to Death there. How can we stop this madness? D:

Mechwarrior Forever!!
Do they NASCAR in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere? Like how the toilet water is backwards? 😂😂
NASCAR is not a thing in Oz. Not sure it is big anywhere except in the US. Dirt track speedway has it's afficianados.
WOW!! GG man!
OH MY GOODNESS!
that mech is a boss...!
A big 'mech with LOTS of heat sinks creating lots of damage. Who'd a-thunk?
I think if we could see you using the same configuration playing battle mech.... Please.
Ok, so my major issues is that I’m running too many weapons then.
I have a Loyalist Matauder IIC ppc builds that is quite good I shall come drop it too
Oh to play with a ping of 10... I find with PPCs and high ping it’s hard to register hits
i build that one with 4 PPC´s :D even with that he´s rather cold ^^
wtf, that first game
Got that 1300 hundred and then some!! Nice! :)
hot games!
Very cold mech???...Very cold blooded mech more appropriate.
840 match score.
OMG, those horrible looking long gun barrels, in terms of desgin they are disaster.
Этот мех напоминает Чужого.
Did they just nerf this mech? My armour is lower.
I have armor skill points applied. Check your skill tree.
ppc just doesn't do enough damage in this game. Even if you fire constantly the entire round you won't do much damage.
You may have commented a bit early, he did 1450 damage in his first round...

PPC aren't for DPS, or massive burst damage, they are good because you can do full damage at 600m or more, the ERPPC can do 800m minimum

Again, 3 negative reviews. It must be the same folks time after time. If you don't like the vids, why keep watching?
