Oh my God! So beautiful treasure ! I am a fan of Royal Copenhagen, and have collected many old antique porcelains. Thank you for this beautiful video !
I’ve seen China cabinets filled with this stuff before and I always wondered why people valued plateware over their jewelry and even stuff like cars or other luxury items like bags or shoes that hold value. A used spoon goes for a grand! A single freaking spoon. The extreme stuff like tea pots and lidded jars cost literally more than brand new cars. Now I know why silverware thief’s existed. Always wondered why someone would risk their job over some silver. Because silver on its own isn’t worth much. But paint some porcelain on that silver and call it flora Danica and suddenly it increases in value tens of times over.
Princess Alexandra of Denmark 🇩🇰 brought a Flora Danica service with her to England, in 1863. It is now housed at Sandringham; The Royal Family use it at Christmas.
I watch this video everyday! 😍🤩 It soothes my soul.
