Also LOVING your hair!! Sounds like she used a toner which will wash out! I use dandruff shampoo to lighten my hair if it goes too dark. I know the struggle of switching hair colors and not going to the color i wanted. Finding a great hairstylist is worth the time. Most should be able to do a few consultation and hopefully you can see if you vibe with them!

I don’t know if anyone said this already but the parallels between the blossoming and never forget tattoo is insane. I see it as you are always continuing to grow and blossom and become the best version of yourself but you always need to remind yourself to never forget where you came from and who you are and where you have been, your past is always linked to you and your future because your experiences make up who you are, it’s so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️🥺

also I recently just finished a book of essays called "what if this were enough?" basically about us being happy and content with where we are and what we have in life, and that we don't necessarily NEED to do more or have more or be more. it was very good! My hair is down to my waist and 5 weeks ago I had an accident with head trauma. The surgeon needed to shave my head along the injury for proper suturing. My bangs are now curtains!!! It’s growing back now, but it’s going to take years for that 7 inch injury line to get anywhere near my waist. But hats and wide headbands work for now. I won’t cut my hair! It’s an exercise in patience and acceptance.
I would not touch extensions with a ten foot pole after bleaching. I've been white blonde (I'm naturally a darker dirty blonde) and my hair was obviously destroyed. Took about a year and a half to grow out 80% of the color. I think waiting is the best solution, and especially if you say your hair grows quickly.

i relate soo hard on short hair problems. i had to chop mine off into a bob at my ear this summer from damage and i literallly cried for weeks lmao. my hair is my identity so that is so relatable, now we wait for it to grow back 🥲
Hi Chloe, I totally understand and I am sympathetic to ur hair situation. 😢I recently had to be on meds for several months that caused me to lose a lot of hair, had hair breakage and almost no growth. I also had to take time away from coloring my hair and as a blonde that was also very difficult for me looking in the mirror and not seeing how are usually look but my hairdresser and I are working on restoring my hair and I did have to take about 4 inches off, so it starts growing in more healthy... with that all being said, I would love to see what kind of hair routine you are doing as I am also trying to restore my hair back to life.
I understand the going from long to short hair. I had the longest hair for yearsss, and dreaded getting it cut as my long hair was a form of self-confidence for me. Few years later and I did a big (ish) chop and I’ve loved shorter hair ever since! That being said, not everyone likes short hair and thats totally fine! But personally, I’m in love with your short hair and think it suits you so well! Xx 🤍

as someone who is currently losing a major amount of hair due to hypothyroidism, do you have any recommendations for hair products that will help me regrow/keep my hair? Or any tips in general?
@@sleepygryhpon for me personally the medication that my doctor gave me for my thyroid (levothyroxine) made my hair grow back the most. This was in late 2018. My hair is miles better now but I can still see my scalp a little bit so I've been using rosemary oil on it. Put a few drops on before you wash your hair, massage it in and let it sit there for at least an hour and then shower as normal. If your using essential rosemary oil make sure to dilute it with a carrier oil or it will be too strong and irritate your scalp. I personally use Mielle Rosemary Oil as it's already been diluted.
I've heard black castor oil is also very good for hair growth.
You could also take Biotin supplements.
But the main thing that will give you the best results is to wait. It will be your medication that gives you the best results since that is what it's there for.

To avoid further damage, I would suggest only clip-in extensions or you can experiment with wigs. Glue-in and sew-ins can cause further damage, and the way you’re talking about your hair, I feel like it wouldn’t be worth the risk.

I’m like 3 or 4 chapters in but the cringe is really unbearable (you even made it halfway through) and I was like am I tripping or what is going on bc I don’t remember TSLD being like that at all? It seems like two different people wrote it. I’ve seen many negative reviews but they always came from people who gave TSLD also a bad rating.
