Thanks for sharing this video but I think Your needle tip inside SST, and not inside the bursa at all !!!!!
You needle is in the SST. And why aren’t u using gloves??
Yes. The bursa was not well visualised
I recently received a steroid injection into the subacromial-subdeltoid (SASD) bursa of my right shoulder. Two hours after the injection, I experienced pain and was unable to move my hand for nearly two days. With pain medication and applying ice cubes, by the third day, I experienced about 90% relief from the pain and could move my hand comfortably.
Was the injection point similar to this video, or was it side on, at top of arm?
Why aren't you wearing gloves
I’m having chronic pain in my scapula. They keep saying they see nothing. I’m from Sacramento California too.
Thanks for video. Which numbing local anaesthetic spray you have used
Does this offer instant relief?
1) You should've had an assistant helping you
2) That looked painful as hell
Hi Doctor! if Cortisone injection injected in Bursa , does it automatically get spread evenly or dose stay local at the point it get injected?
I have so much pain start from neck then shoulder and then right hand all area oh god I have done 3 appointments with physiotherapy but still to pain hope I do also this injection 💉
No gloves
I just had one today. I still hurt after the shot. Next up, surgery.
Takes some time to work...
any update? how was it?
@@hanihaffar9076 I still hurt. I keep putting off surgery. The injections isn't permanent and to be honest, neither is surgery. I'm 54 and I've had just about every kind of surgery done to my hands, elbows, hip, foot, stomach, gall bladder and open heart. I'm done. I'll just try and live with the pain. Maybe take a steroid pack every now and then when the doc prescribes me some.
@@helloyall4355have you looked into PRP or stem cell injections?
@@helloyall4355 did the actual shot itself hurt a lot or was it ok? i had cortisone shots done into other more hollow parts of the shoulder and barely felt any pain, but the idea of going into the joint scares the hell out of me
What medications did u use in this case?
cortisone
👍🏼👏🏼
No gloves !!!!!!!
Why did you inject steroid and not PRP or MSC?
Prp is not effective
@@anastasiawhite7482 odd because I do it for pts all the time with great results. MLB, NFL etc pros get it all the time. I’ve e had it three times for three injuries and all healed after 9-12 months of not healing without it.
@@Marc-nc9yv several double blinded studies showed there was no difference between injecting saline water and PRP. Do nothing and the body will heal itself.
For the partial tear?
PRP will heal the tear. Steroids won’t
