And 83.20% of people make average $47 a month. So those poor people are in the hole. Now mind you these figures are ONLY for people who are comission qualified so those figures are for people are are actively working the business. My cousin does this and its sad cause she has destroyed her relationship with a lot of the family because if it. She tries to tell us she makes all this money but was secretly asking for money from family members and even went so far at one point to raid our dead great grandmothers house of whatever was left and try to have a yard sell without her dad, the inheritor of it all, being told. Then she went off with a man and he bought them a mobile home, which isn't a bad thing my point being she didn't contribute much to the buying of it, and is still trying to pedal itworks. She tried to screw over my other cousin but after that cousin lost $500 she quickly left and it severed part of their relationship. She is basically the black sheep of the family now. It's sad cause I love her but these companies just aren't sustainable. I heard it best early, "If the product worked everyone would be raving about it," the product doesn't work or I can get the same product for $4 at my local CVS.
Jessica Houghton thank you for posting your honest testimonial. 10% commission sounds like Avon if your trying to make a living especially with a family. I've gone to retail stores where the store had defective merchandise and I inquired on a discount and 10% was not much.
Back in the early '80. I tried my hand at selling with a MLM company called Chere Bella Creations. We had aloe products, eucalyptus lotion, aloe juices and creams, make up, and anti-wrinkle products. I think they folded a long time ago. I did make a little money but it all dried up pretty quick and I could nag my Aunts only so many times before I became an unwelcome pest. Listening to your experience reminded me why I got into selling vintage and antique items on eBay as well as handmade jewelry at fairs and festivals. I met so many interesting people from all over the world, became friends with a couple of them and I've spent years doing research and learning about the items I sell. In other words, it's fun! Ladies, you don't need these pyramid schemes to make money. Start by looking for a need that isn't being met in the community. Maybe there's no 'doggie daycare' in your area. If you have the facilities, start one. House-sitting, taking care of plants/plant rental, a hotdog vendor at fairs... there are so many possibilities, don't get snared in a trap trying to sell products that few people want.

But if you’re an independent contractor with no physical store location why would need to wear there clothes. Her comments states why PAY a company to SELL there own products or promote them. You wearing clothes from Aeropostale while working for Aeropostale you are actually advertising the clothes that you are wearing. Technology you’re a model if you at those type of stores.
I started it works two days ago and immediately knew it wasn’t for me because I read into it and had to figure it out on my own. The ladies who signed me on were nice but didn’t tell me ANYTHING! I’m actually so pissed. They asked for my card without telling me what was even happening nor that I would be charged EVERY MONTH for products I wouldn’t have any use for. I’m someone trying to GAIN weight, and yes I know there’s more than just weightloss products but I genuinely didn’t care about what I would be selling or haggling people to buy every.damn.day. girl, thank you for your video. my relative wants me to sign up and try the product. I have been involved with MLM for many years. I have stayed with only the ones I like, Amway, Primerica and Shaklee, thats it. I was not looking to joint any other until my relatives asked me. so I told her I will read up on it and get back to her. so your video gave me the needed push not to join. Thank you so much. I appreciate your honesty. unfortunately, some companies are just like that, on the other hand, its not the company, its the people, don't you agree? My upline in one of those companies I mentioned was not an honest person, so I left his group. Now I am just happy being a consumer and not working. cause you are right, sometimes your customers either build you or wear you down.
I can only guess which one of those companies, where your Upline was dishonest (following the lead of his/her upline leadership) and while they may have some decent products- albeit "pricey" by comparison, the opportunity per se is a non opportunity. Unless of course you are outside the USA in a 2nd or 3rd world country, where the majority of their growth is and has been for many years now.

You can buy the product just for one month You don't get stuck if You don't want , people get stuck because they want to get promotions and products very cheap and then they don't want anymore, and promotions is for loyal customers

After signing me up she basically ghosted me, never taught me about auto ship and I got over drafted (college student here lol). I immediately left esp. Bc no one would try my wraps, and I had to use them all and they never worked :(

I’m sticking to the three months on my second order with it works. I love the hair skin and nails. It’s working for me people just have to be patient and wait for it to work. 🤷🏻♀️ and haven’t returned anything love it works stuff. I’ve also lost weight on skinny Brew coffee, but I’m also doing keto with that.
I think maybe it's a type of brand that only affects certain people mostly because everyone is different. Everyone just has to find what works best for them and it can be hard sometimes but it's worth it when they do ♥️

i know this has been a year ago. but i’ve been doing itworks for at least a couple of months now (don’t recall how long) and i’ve been having a difficult time trying to get customers. im starting to give up honestly (i don’t know how to quit it so if you could help me with that. that would be amazing) i lost passion for it as well. and the products don’t even work and i’ve been trying to do it for at least more than a month now and none of it is working. i’ve also had my mom tell me it doesn’t work on her either.

I can't get far enough from this cult like company. Especially the mean girls mentality a lot of dts have, which is evident in the comment section of this video. So for those who stated that "you don't have to run the 80 pbv autoship" to be commission qualified, tell that bullshit to my double diamond leaders. Even if you do hit the 150 bv they still want you to do your autoship so you can be "a product of the product". 2 in order to keep your rankings, you AND YOUR DOWNLINE must meet the 400 bv each month. So for instance, I was structured for ruby for 6 months. Never made ruby because the 8 people in my down line didn't all hit 400 bv. Not only that, I'm still waiting for 3 separate refunds from the company for doubling charging me for my autoship. Oh and if double diamonds make up to 2,000 bucks a month then I was already a double diamond before I even started since my monthly salary is above that and only thing I need to buy for worn is gas. I come out cheaper that way.

I had a lot of the same experiences. How were you treated when you quit? I was belittled and treated like a pariah. It was awful. People who had pretended to be my friends were suddenly insulting me.
I've noticed that people in MLM's are ONLY friends with people who are in their MLM or that are buying products from them. They have no use for you if you're not supporting their "small business". The sad part is, what you just explained is what happens to everyone who leaves an MLM. Uplines tell you to block them immediately. Very cultish.

I am just now leaving it Works too. I never cared for the rank. I made so much money just buying and selling the wraps. But I had more customers come back to me saying it never worked and some felt that they should get their money back. The 80BV autoshipment killed me too. My most loyal customer was my husband and even he used it to the letter of the instructions, he did not get any results. The last straw for him was the energy drink, he had to drink 2 and still felt like it is not working. He said he had to buy a monster afterwards. One of the ladies that I had sold to called it "Placebo".

Why don’t distributors post lots of their own before & after pics, if the products work? Why don’t any of their customers post before & after pics? I didn’t like the auto ship, the negetive energy that came along with the spamming DM and cold messaging .. it was like you had to convince people to do things. I didn’t want to hold hands, babysit! I decided to do American Bill Money.. sending flyers and postcards. I love it. What I was finding is my team couldn’t duplicate what I was doing.. that didn’t make sense. I made money.. yes! But it wasn’t worth all the time I had to put in for the amount of money getting paid. Good job following your heart!

Erica Henry if you owned your own business in a physical building you would pay rent for that building, utilities, you would also buy inventory and/or materials to make your inventory, marketing (ads), and overhead costs. I don't understand how people can complain about paying $80-$100 to own their own business when it would cost you A LOT more to do it outside of the company. Please think about what you are doing before you back out. There will always be naysayers. There will always be things for people to complain about. But paying $20 a month for a website you don't have to maintain and didn't design that allows you to sell your products easily to people all over the world is not a legitimate read that makes any sense.
I also want to point out that the 80 bc auto shipment isn't required either. So you effectively pay $20 a month for a business. Go try to do that without It Works.
This info is extremely helpful. I wish I had seen it before I actually bought it. I think it's a lot of money for very little results. I tried to find reviews before I looked here and the "review page" isn't even reviews. It's a scam to get more people to sell "it works!" It's like a cult following program. I've only been on it a couple weeks because it took 3.5 weeks to get it, and now it's time for auto ship to start already. Just cancel or call customer service and cancel. Shut off your auto ship too or they'll keep charging you. There's hundreds of complaints on the BBB about it. If worse comes to worse, go get a new bank card so they won't be able to take anymore money out.
@@tonyadenise7914 it looked like they charged me for enough products for 2 months in one month. Also I didnt onow there was a monthly upkeep fee until after I signed up. I didnt like that I wasnt told a bunch of things up front , everything was like pulling teeth.

Any home business takes time to build and become successful.. It doesn't happen overnight. I know people personally who work for It Works and who are literally making good money and paying off debt. Also It Works Global is a family owned business with real products and you have to do your taxes for this company. If it was a pyramid scheme, there would be no products at all.. smh. I hate how people are soo quick to jump the gun and criticize this company. But everyone will have there opinion and listen to hear say. I will continue to make REAL money with this company (y)
Good for you that you are making money- hopefully "net" money. While I don't question that It Works is a legitimate mlm, just having products available does not define whether or not a company is a pyramid scheme. In my years in this industry, I date back to the days of "Gold Unlimited", where there actually were real gold coins. A rock solid pyramid scheme that eventually put the Crowe's in prison.

Umm, misinformation... You do not have to sell 400bv! You can sell 150bv and be good to go, without spending anything yourself! Lots of companies make you personally spend a certain amount, regardless of what customers spend, just fyi.
Not everything works for everyone. Sometimes people don't use them correctly and sometimes they just don't work. It happens. That's why you need to talk to your distributor. Some people do really have great results. A lot of things have changed since she posted this video. We either need to run an autoshipment or have 150bv in sales. The experience is different for everybody. That is true for all jobs. The truth is if you don't put the work in you won't make the money and that is why so many people fail. You have to be consistent. It Works isn't for everyone. I respect her for giving her opinion I just don't agree with it especially since things have changed. It is not a pyramid company at all it is an MLM Matrix. It is not a get rich quick scheme either. YOU HAVE TO PUT THE WORK IN. Most people start it and they have a job and then they are eventually able to quit their 9-5 but not everyone. It all depends on how much work you put in. Melaleuca is just another MLM, but the reps will swear it's not. Lol. They have crazy autoship that you have to buy stuff even if you don't need anything that month(as a customer). If you don't pick what you want then they send you a random back up order. Hundreds of complaints on the BBB about them doing this. Terrible company.

My cousin does this and its sad cause she has destroyed her relationship with a lot of the family because if it. She tries to tell us she makes all this money but was secretly asking for money from family members and even went so far at one point to raid our dead great grandmothers house of whatever was left and try to have a yard sell without her dad, the inheritor of it all, being told. Then she went off with a man and he bought them a mobile home, which isn't a bad thing my point being she didn't contribute much to the buying of it, and is still trying to pedal itworks. She tried to screw over my other cousin but after that cousin lost $500 she quickly left and it severed part of their relationship. She is basically the black sheep of the family now. It's sad cause I love her but these companies just aren't sustainable. I heard it best early, "If the product worked everyone would be raving about it," the product doesn't work or I can get the same product for $4 at my local CVS.
Jessica Houghton thank you for posting your honest testimonial. 10% commission sounds like Avon if your trying to make a living especially with a family. I've gone to retail stores where the store had defective merchandise and I inquired on a discount and 10% was not much.
Back in the early '80. I tried my hand at selling with a MLM company called Chere Bella Creations. We had aloe products, eucalyptus lotion, aloe juices and creams, make up, and anti-wrinkle products. I think they folded a long time ago. I did make a little money but it all dried up pretty quick and I could nag my Aunts only so many times before I became an unwelcome pest. Listening to your experience reminded me why I got into selling vintage and antique items on eBay as well as handmade jewelry at fairs and festivals. I met so many interesting people from all over the world, became friends with a couple of them and I've spent years doing research and learning about the items I sell. In other words, it's fun! Ladies, you don't need these pyramid schemes to make money. Start by looking for a need that isn't being met in the community. Maybe there's no 'doggie daycare' in your area. If you have the facilities, start one. House-sitting, taking care of plants/plant rental, a hotdog vendor at fairs... there are so many possibilities, don't get snared in a trap trying to sell products that few people want.

But if you’re an independent contractor with no physical store location why would need to wear there clothes. Her comments states why PAY a company to SELL there own products or promote them. You wearing clothes from Aeropostale while working for Aeropostale you are actually advertising the clothes that you are wearing. Technology you’re a model if you at those type of stores.

I started it works two days ago and immediately knew it wasn’t for me because I read into it and had to figure it out on my own. The ladies who signed me on were nice but didn’t tell me ANYTHING! I’m actually so pissed. They asked for my card without telling me what was even happening nor that I would be charged EVERY MONTH for products I wouldn’t have any use for. I’m someone trying to GAIN weight, and yes I know there’s more than just weightloss products but I genuinely didn’t care about what I would be selling or haggling people to buy every.damn.day. Partially my own fault for not reading up beforehand, but I definitely won’t make this mistake again.

I have stayed with only the ones I like, Amway, Primerica and Shaklee, thats it. I was not looking to joint any other until my relatives asked me. so I told her I will read up on it and get back to her. so your video gave me the needed push not to join. Thank you so much. I appreciate your honesty. unfortunately, some companies are just like that, on the other hand, its not the company, its the people, don't you agree? My upline in one of those companies I mentioned was not an honest person, so I left his group. I can only guess which one of those companies, where your Upline was dishonest (following the lead of his/her upline leadership) and while they may have some decent products- albeit "pricey" by comparison, the opportunity per se is a non opportunity. Unless of course you are outside the USA in a 2nd or 3rd world country, where the majority of their growth is and has been for many years now.

i know this has been a year ago. but i’ve been doing itworks for at least a couple of months now (don’t recall how long) and i’ve been having a difficult time trying to get customers. im starting to give up honestly (i don’t know how to quit it so if you could help me with that. that would be amazing) i lost passion for it as well. and the products don’t even work and i’ve been trying to do it for at least more than a month now and none of it is working. i’ve also had my mom tell me it doesn’t work on her either.

I can't get far enough from this cult like company. Especially the mean girls mentality a lot of dts have, which is evident in the comment section of this video. So for those who stated that "you don't have to run the 80 pbv autoship" to be commission qualified, tell that bullshit to my double diamond leaders. Even if you do hit the 150 bv they still want you to do your autoship so you can be "a product of the product". 2 in order to keep your rankings, you AND YOUR DOWNLINE must meet the 400 bv each month. So for instance, I was structured for ruby for 6 months. Never made ruby because the 8 people in my down line didn't all hit 400 bv. Not only that, I'm still waiting for 3 separate refunds from the company for doubling charging me for my autoship. Oh and if double diamonds make up to 2,000 bucks a month then I was already a double diamond before I even started since my monthly salary is above that and only thing I need to buy for worn is gas. I come out cheaper that way.

I am just now leaving it Works too. I never cared for the rank. I made so much money just buying and selling the wraps. But I had more customers come back to me saying it never worked and some felt that they should get their money back. The 80BV autoshipment killed me too. My most loyal customer was my husband and even he used it to the letter of the instructions, he did not get any results. The last straw for him was the energy drink, he had to drink 2 and still felt like it is not working. He said he had to buy a monster afterwards. One of the ladies that I had sold to called it "Placebo".

Erica Henry if you owned your own business in a physical building you would pay rent for that building, utilities, you would also buy inventory and/or materials to make your inventory, marketing (ads), and overhead costs. I don't understand how people can complain about paying $80-$100 to own their own business when it would cost you A LOT more to do it outside of the company. Please think about what you are doing before you back out. There will always be naysayers. There will always be things for people to complain about. But paying $20 a month for a website you don't have to maintain and didn't design that allows you to sell your products easily to people all over the world is not a legitimate read that makes any sense.
I also want to point out that the 80 bc auto shipment isn't required either. So you effectively pay $20 a month for a business. Go try to do that without It Works.

Just cancel or call customer service and cancel. Shut off your auto ship too or they'll keep charging you. There's hundreds of complaints on the BBB about it. If worse comes to worse, go get a new bank card so they won't be able to take anymore money out.

@@tonyadenise7914 it looked like they charged me for enough products for 2 months in one month. Also I didnt onow there was a monthly upkeep fee until after I signed up. I didnt like that I wasnt told a bunch of things up front , everything was like pulling teeth.

Any home business takes time to build and become successful.. It doesn't happen overnight. I know people personally who work for It Works and who are literally making good money and paying off debt. Also It Works Global is a family owned business with real products and you have to do your taxes for this company. If it was a pyramid scheme, there would be no products at all.. smh. I hate how people are soo quick to jump the gun and criticize this company. But everyone will have there opinion and listen to hear say. I will continue to make REAL money with this company (y)
Good for you that you are making money- hopefully "net" money. While I don't question that It Works is a legitimate mlm, just having products available does not define whether or not a company is a pyramid scheme. In my years in this industry, I date back to the days of "Gold Unlimited", where there actually were real gold coins. A rock solid pyramid scheme that eventually put the Crowe's in prison.

When you sell fake products to people and part of your job is recruit other people to sell the same BS and only the top people get paid, thats a pyramid scheme. Umm, misinformation... You do not have to sell 400bv! You can sell 150bv and be good to go, without spending anything yourself! Lots of companies make you personally spend a certain amount, regardless of what customers spend, just fyi.
Not everything works for everyone. Sometimes people don't use them correctly and sometimes they just don't work. It happens. That's why you need to talk to your distributor. Some people do really have great results. A lot of things have changed since she posted this video. We either need to run an autoshipment or have 150bv in sales. The experience is different for everybody. That is true for all jobs. The truth is if you don't put the work in you won't make the money and that is why so many people fail. You have to be consistent. It Works isn't for everyone. I respect her for giving her opinion I just don't agree with it especially since things have changed. It is not a pyramid company at all it is an MLM Matrix. It is not a get rich quick scheme either. YOU HAVE TO PUT THE WORK IN. Most people start it and they have a job and then they are eventually able to quit their 9-5 but not everyone. It all depends on how much work you put in. Everyone has their own opinion and that is okay. She just didn't have a good experience with it. People can disagree with me, think I'm crazy, and/or think it's a scam and that is okay. I will continue to LOVE this business and it's products.

Melaleuca is just another MLM, but the reps will swear it's not. Lol. They have crazy autoship that you have to buy stuff even if you don't need anything that month(as a customer). If you don't pick what you want then they send you a random back up order. Hundreds of complaints on the BBB about them doing this. Terrible company.
How do I get out of this shit. I hate the lies they tell you you have to tell people. Always be happy and stay positive
