    If you think Mihawk was actually complimenting Zoro's combat capabilities, you're missing the point. He's acknowledging Zoro's resolve, his honor as a swordsman, his will to fight and his drive to become the best. When he calls him " Strong" he's talking about his ability to stick to his ideals, even in the face of overwhelming power and absolute defeat, because to him, that's real strength.

      @@BYAKURAN-9210 No it’s the best fight so far, look at the skill of Mihawk, he completely outclasses Zoro with a little knife. We saw how powerful the strongest are early in One Piece, it had emotion with Zoro wanting to be the best or nothing. This fight shapes the goals of Zoro and Mihawk admires his courage to take a slash on the chest instead of his back.
      Also this fight involves just pure skill with swords,
      No devil fruits or anything else interfering.

      @anathem9982 Why did they change it so that it becomes a moment for Luffy, that takes away from Zoro.
      Secondly in the anime Zoro goes instantly three sword style, not fucking around with mihawk.
      And the wound he gets just looks like the first "light" cut, not the second where mihawk almost kills him.
      Not to mention the whole garp thing, I first thought: "cool, that's cold, sending mihawk after luffy." But I think that was only done so Koby could have a moment later, wich is lame.

    • @cap-ml7ky
      @cap-ml7ky Рік тому

      @@anathem9982 Nah they really fucked up big time. I dont mind the changes, but my god the scene in the LA does not even have a tenth of the emotion the original had. The biggest issue was the aftermath. Zoro looked like he was in his death bed, and despite it all mustered every once of energy to make that speech. mf was crying man. And both luffy and mihawk had a big grin after hearing his speech like it was the manliest shit ever. (cause it was.)
