THE women who vaccinated me with Pfizer had the hijab and no one complained, the same in the transport... women with the hijab I saw this all the time and no one says anything even the railway staff, it's the same in the poor neighborhoods where I lived, there were always veiled women and nothing the people was always nice even with the difference of religion. The only places people complain is in schools and political places like the tribunal.

Well, I really hope you speak flawless German, without accents, to judge others accents . I'd say that to hear someone in the Sahara speak German is quite special in itself..
His native tongue is Arab and in Arab (at least in the Maghreb variant) the 'ch' is pronounced as 'sh'.
Apart from that the 'ch' in 'Deutsch' is pronounced as 'sh' as well, so he might pronounce it from that.
You never heard people mention 'Deutschland' as 'Germany' by foreigners ? It is pretty common, right ..
As some said..it is not the country, itself that is not liked, but the government. As an American living abroad, I hear that quite a lot. Not today as much as a few years ago but that might return in a few months. However, saying that, so many judge an entire nation based on their interaction with 1 person they happened to meet from that country...which is why I always have to stay on guard about how I, as an American abroad, behave and interact with others, regardless of where they are from. I do not want to act like an asshole, per se, and have people's opinions of Americans either reinforced that we are all assholes, which is not true or change their opinions that were once positive solely based on my bad behavior. So, I don't act badly, which is a good way to be anyway, but diplomatically. I think people who travel, live or even vacation abroad have to remember that they are representing wherever they come from. It's not always easy but I have travelled so much and have seen the arrogance, especially today, of English speaking people not bothering to learn even 1 word in the language of the land they are visiting as they "assume" everyone will speak English, and many do, but it is so, so impolite to not try to communicate in French or Dutch or German or Japanese....especially with all the technology, often free, which will translate for you if you don't have the time or ear or want..to bother to learn on your own! I will not be traveling to Mauritania, myself, for other reasons, sadly, but that is for another time.

As an Israeli, I feel like I should say this, every time I see someone mentions they hate Israel, I get really depressed, but thanks to some people who explain they hate their government and not the people, I'm reminded again, not all people are ignorant to generalize the people here! And that makes me happy again! I was frightened at first when I heard that many people despise me for my birthplace, but then reminded again that there are good people in this world (and to clarify, I want peace with Palestine, it will require for their self-proclaimed "guardians" to cease either fire or exist) I'm not saying all of the Israelis are good either, no place is, but there are a lot of Israelis I know that want to live in peace with others, not to be under constant pressure due to something they cannot control (they try, A LOT).

That's pretty stupid. I support Israel, but at the very least Palestinians can claim to be somewhat distinct from Jewish Israel(not so much non-Jewish Arab Israelis). Western Saharans are ethnically Moroccan, they speak the same dialects of Arabic that Moroccans do, they have the same culture, DNA. The only thing they have in common with Palestinians is the made up identity(Palestine was the later Roman name for the Israel, which was a Roman province at the time, the first name was Judea, after the Kingdom of Judah, an Israelite kingdom), Sahrawi literally means "Saharan", like Moroccans, Algerians, Libyans, Egyptians, Sudanese, Chadians, Nigeriens, Malians, etc.
During colonization, the Kingdom of Morocco was split up by France and Spain, Western Sahara comes from the part that was taken by Spain. They use the fact that they were colonized by Spain instead of France to act as of they are not Moroccans when those are Colonial distinctions. Historically, they were the Southern part of Morocco.
