I love my jacket from Greg. Fully custom cross zip. When he was making my jacket, he accidently had my pocket orientation wrong, and he completely remade mine. Greg and Sam were a pleasure to work with, and I'm happy for all their success. Your videos have really given him a platform for that success as well, Carl. Love the collab
Carl, this is such a phenomenal jacket and your creative input for the small details is what has helped to make this such a beautiful piece. I saw your first video on Greg’s jackets back in the day but I was still in college and couldn’t afford to get one but I think soon I might need to start saving up to get one of his pieces because his work is insane. Great video as always Carl.
A long silent viewer of yours from Saudi Arabia, and let me tell you, I got the satchel & page montgomery jacket and I've never been more impressed by a piece of clothes. Thanks a lot man !! I've watched one of your videos where you mentioned a pair of boots that goes very well with that jacket. i spent at least an hour watching your boots review videos and couldn't find it. I really need to know that pair.... Again, thank u !
I've loved this style of jacket since I was a kid. I love this version of the coat. I'm with you on the cuffs. I know why the original had it but it is much more practical day to day to just have the leather. Great job and another stellar collaboration! Can't wait to see what is next.
Love this Video! You did a great job with the design of this jacket I agreed to all the changes you made. I collect Schott Jackets. I too always wanted a B3 but there were things I did not like. One thing is the light color trim and inside. This outer leather looks stronger then SCHOTT’S or Cock Pit’s B3.
I already have a B3 replica but if I didn't then this is what I'd go for. Beautiful and warm, like wearing a blanket. You buy these for life. They're that good.
Had a B-6 from Eastman liked it and a D-1 from Real McCoy D-1 which was made in NZ before they moved to Japan after the earthquake in NZ in 2011. That was a great jacket. I aways found the B-3 a bit showy. The D-1 is minimal. Smaller collar etc.
@@leemoir1 ahh good thanks! might be a little tight in the old chest. (I have 49" chest.) If these are garmet measurements not body measurements, with that thick material, it may be a no go. pity. I'll have to wait till they are on the regular waitlist to get a custom size.
It’s amazing. It’s also too much of a coat/jacket for my purposes being in west Texas. I’m actually quite envious that I’m not in climes where clothing like this is necessary.
Spoke to Sam a handful of times. Lovely people. It doesn’t get cold enough often here to justify multiple shearlings. Looking forward to getting a leather jacket from their time in the near future though
I was devastated to run into the "Japanese fit" problem when I started looking into that part of the clothing/fashion industry. Not a big (185lbs,5'10) guy by any means but I'm just an odd size for that part of the world to make sense for me personally I need a large for my barrel like chest lol. Generally 2nd hand market is a god send for certain pieces but unfortunately not for a piece currently eluding my grasp. It's the Visvim caravan from an old 2013/14 collection, damn thing is impossible to find in a L. I could go with a custom fit but I do really like supporting brands I find that I end up really enjoying.
Don’t know if this is on my list! During the pandemic I bought a Schott 613 “Brando”! Next up the Lewis Leather Twin Bronx, after that a custom made Aero Leathers Bomber 💣! After that Real MCCoy bomber 💣! The color is amazing though on your jacket!
I have the Cockpit USA RAF B3 and can confirm people always want to talk about it. Even men, more often than women. I honestly had no expectations of that. Everybody thinks it's a pimp jacket. smh. The RAF is interesting because it's wearable in slightly more moderate temps because of the zip up cuffs. I can unzip and roll back the cuffs and wearing the jacket unzipped with just a t shirt and it's perfectly comfortable in the 50's. Being in AZ, I don't get to wear it as much as I'd like to, but I love bringing it when I go back to the Chicago-area in the winter to visit family.
@@LeadLeftLeon I believe this is Carl's 3rd "Something X Murawski" collaboration - this is often the logical path for product review UA-camrs once they reach ~100K subscribers to grow their 'brand' and bump up their earning potential. Good for him, he seems to be working hard. I would not be surprised if, in about 2 years, he quits his day job and pivots to his own clothing company.
Lol I loved the subtitles overlaid on the video. I know you loathe loafers, Carl. Do you like to wear camp mocs, boat shoes or a different leather summer shoe? I have found myself moving away from chukkas and towards loafers and mocs as I’ve been in more casual settings and I like I can wear loafers/mocs with shorts.
It's funny how clothing in "Urban " areas, come in and out of style. When i was a teen and into my early 20's , these types of jackets were THEE ITEM to have (in the NJ/NYC areas) . Like only drug dealers or rappers (and anyone who had money and wanted be in the IN CROWD) wore these types of coats , along with SHEEP DOGS(HOOD slang for SHEEP SKIN COATS) , also CAZAL (607's) eyeglasses. But being someone who never fit in the "CROWD" , i'd still wear this coat today.
wow your input really takes the jacket to the next level, would definitely look santa clause like if the wool popped out at the edges. Looks 10x better then the real mccoys one. Kind of different product though but still
need stuff appropriate for East Texas, but i sure would want to get this just for the real cold fronts. just bought a house, so gotta call it quits on buying stuff first hand lol
@@CarlMurawski Good job Carl! jokes aside I'm going to pick up one of those jackets. While the unfinished side on the neck straps don't bother me one bit the Santa Claus look with the wool at the cuff and hem does. The Connecticut looks exactly like the sheepskin jacket i was looking for, thank you for helping design it!
i want this but i live in coastal north carolina, there are maybe a few days a year that stay below freezing the whole day, sometimes none. but damn, thats a sexy jacket.... hmmmm
Where do you wear a jacket like this to? Seems like an overkill for most events other than something that’s outdoors. I want one but find myself asking this question often. I live in Colorado so gets cold enough but like you said would feel weird wearing a jacket of this magnitude in my car with the heater on just to get out and walk into a heated building lol.
It’s Nice! Kinda pricy though. Sitting at £1000.00. I’d say if it were lowered down to $650-750 US, it would be more buyable. Something you’ll definitely have to save a year in advance to buy. Worth it though.
Love the fit, cut, and the overall design... really wish it came in a black or brown, i would definitely look like a Santa in red with the trim and me having a beard 😅🎅
I would find this coat during the holidays when I should be shopping for others....ummm. I'll find a way to justify spending $1200k right now. It doesn't really get that cold in Kentucky but OH WELL

Awesome! Your enthusiasm for this is well deserved. Between this and the collab with Heat Straps, you are designing your own clothing line. Chapeau!
This red color is amazing and needs to be a permanent fixture for this brand's shearling jackets forever. Beautiful!
This looks so awesome. I definitely don't have the confidence to wear this, but it looks great.

Really cool jacket. The high praise of field leathers really stands out as something I'm seriously considering.
BEAUTIFUL JACKET !!!

Dude these are money. Been looking for one forever. Overland makes some nice ones but this color and style looks amazing. Will be ordering for sure
Right on!
Last you the rest of your life if you look after it.
Hell yeah I want one. Reminds me of the one in RE4 that Leon is wearing.
One that Leon wears is by Schott NYC
That jacket is absolutely gorgeous!!
Looks like this is suitable for winter weathers.
Man I really want one of these now!….. kinda want a castle now too…..
Carl, ... you need gussets on the back for the arm stretch. That's my one thing. I hate binding and restrictions when I need it.
I wonder that as well; why no gussets?
For me it's that and the mottled look of the leather. Great jacket, but I'll be interested to see how the design develops further.
Do shearlings have gussets? I don’t remember seeing them on any shearling
@@LeadLeftLeon That could be the case/why there are none on this jacket; can’t do them with shearling.
Wow, great looking jacket. Love the color. Too bad I live Hawaii.
Love this video, B3 is also my favorite jacket 🔥 keep up the amazing videos
I got my B3 from Overland and very much enjoy it.
Nice, just in time for RE4 remake release. :)
Carl, brother! The thumbnail pic is 🔥
Thanks dude!
I'll definitely have to add this to the collection.
The comedic touch he has been putting in his videos lately is really nice
Love the Santa reference. The shearling around the sleeve opening and waist opening found on most bombers is too flamboyant for me.
Had a B-6 from Eastman liked it and a D-1 from Real McCoy D-1 which was made in NZ before they moved to Japan after the earthquake in NZ in 2011. That was a great jacket. I aways found the B-3 a bit showy. The D-1 is minimal. Smaller collar etc.
the suede side! the jacket is bad-ass !!!
Haven't worn a bomber jacket in years and I want this one. The color is my favorite and i love the army like look with the color.
AN-J-4 or M-445 are great sheepskin. Or B-10 for warm cotton and B-15 for warm nylon.
Wooooooowwww!!!! That is a thing of beauty. I just don't think I can pull the look off..
Can't find the sizing chart, the size guide on his site just shows how to take measurements, no table.
The size chart for this jacket is on the photo slides of the jacket

I’m on the west coast so can’t use one but I’d buy one just fir the exceptional value.
Pretty badass jacket!
I don't like to be noticed, however, I watched the video anyway, Carl. Awesome coat, great job. You have a right to be proud.
Wow it is work of art, maybe some day.
Would LOVE this in Black and a larger size than XL.
Yeah, they only seem to have kids sizes. I'd like to see XXL Long myself. These things always tend to have sleeves that are way too short.
Excellent color choice
can we all agree this is a very carl coat, he pulls it off so well haha.
Great looking jacket
i love this jacket allways wanted one.
What is the promo code if there is one to order thank you
On those jackets do you have to order one size bigger than your normal because of the inside???

Love my Schott B3. I got the black version so I wouldn't have to suffer the Santa effect on the cuffs and bottom.
Got the same coat. The only thing I'm jealous of is the large back panel. It just makes the jacket so much cleaner of a design.
You will still need to wear this in march in ct.

The "I want to steal Leon Scott Kennedy Style." lol JK nice video man. :)
As a pilot who has to work in a small unpressurized tube with effectively no heating, this jacket has become a goal of mine to achieve.
Cool video. Loafers don’t suck.
That’s one crazy jacket.
Anyone know the brand Jangwoo? I have a b-3 type military air force facket brown with white on the inside. It says its produced by Jangwoo.
