Great question. I'd say I prefer the impacts for their high level of protection and their overall fit based on my more medium (rather than large and long) hand size.
The impacts, the shield, and the giants are their 3 most protective if you do punch hard already and want to protect your hands more. If you want more of your knuckles to sink through the glove punch-for-punch though, the elites or the hammers are pretty good.

Had my first workout with these gloves today, they indeed felt little bit short on the fingertips but overall i couldnt be more happy with them!

If definitely recommend the Venum Elites then. Those are much less pillow-y than these.
