I was planning to go to bed early but then I stumbled upon this channel. I'm going to be hella tired tomorrow but at least my faith in humanity has been restored.
So…the young man being recognized for the help he provided by stopping the car….says…well not that big of a deal…anyone who’d have done it. No, not anyone…you did it. Much respect to you.
I'm from the UK living in London and because of what Nate did and continues to do for Tylee and JJ, I now watch East Idaho News. I too would like to say thank you to those 4 young people and say they are credits to the school, community and their families. We live in a world in which young people are too easily cast aside and blamed for so many things, these 4 just show that society should not just paint every young person with the same brush. Susan
This reporter + family + sender has a really good + sincere soul. He seems to have a very big heart + humanity. Thank you for this program to reward people for their courage and to surprise those in need this Christmas.
Young everyday heroes. Thanks for introducing them. Feel Good Friday segments are a part of every week for me. Love the Secret Santa segments, too. There are so many good, decent, hardworking people deserving of a break in America.
“I did what anybody else wld do,” says the kind hearted w/the gorgeous eyebrows ... dear soul, these days, we all pray that’s what a decent human being wld do, but it’s disturbingly sad how many won’t. Not even won’t, but must endure the disturbed who find demonic joy in other’s tragedy/pain. After 1/2 century on this Earth, I’m SO dam* happy to say that the two times both my parents went down hard w/health issues, we were beyond INCREDIBLY blessed w/a genuine soul as this young gentleman. You’re a good man - nvr, NVR lose that. That is the very definition of humanity, humility. mercy & benevolence. It’s beautiful & rare, & what gives meaning to life. Move mountains even more moving fwd my dear. We vitally need so, so many more like you!
Such a wonderful story! Believe it or not, there are lots of caring people in this world, especially these teens in High School. Just shows you, how well their parents have raised them, to be kind toward others.
Very true, sadly most news and other media portray our teens as horrible people who go out of their way to do harm to others, steal, drugs, etc. Those stereotypes need to STOP because most of our young men and women in our communities of all ages, not just teens are genuinely great people and people of the communities they live in need to stop and take the time to get to know the kids and teens and young adults in their area, let them know you care, show them they are welcomed there, etc. I've met so many great kids in my town, they're hard working and they are learning the best they can in today's trying times and who are very willing to help others.
It is SO nice to see such great teenagers in this day and age! Kudos to them for stopping to help someone in need! Other teenagers could learn a lot from these 4 good kids!!
Alot of teens and even Adults use the word like when they are nervous give her a break, she is a terrific teenager for helping someone she did not even know. The teenagers in my area are bullys and hurt other people, throw rocks at windows, cuss out adults, and would not lift a finger to help someone else.Thank God some parents taught their teenagers to do help those in need.
You can definitely tell she is nervous. I noticed it, but I also understand it because get nervous/anxiety too, and would be especially nervous with a camera crew right there.
You usually hear about how bad today's teens are. And THEN you hear about these 4 awesome ones! Super story, no matter how long ago it happened. I really enjoy these feel good Friday segments.
Awesome young adults. The young man said it was nothing, anyone would do it, but not so it takes someone with a cool head to jump in when things are dire. I love Nate's comment about if he is every in a bad situation they would be close by to help. I'm always so impressed with Nate's genuineness and fantastic smile that is not fake.
Instead of negative news about teens, you bring us teens, doing whatever anyone would do, so he said. His words show us heroism and reminds us that the majority of teens are fabulous! Thank You!
Bunch of good kids and good to hear the mom is ok. Totally irrelevant but I think this is the first video of his that I haven't watched months (or even years) after it was published. It doesn't matter though because the stories here are timeless. Everyone needs a Nate Eaton in their life.
There is GOOD in all people , of ALL ages. People should NOT be so quick to say that young people are non caring . This is PROOF. These young folks , had good parenting provided to them.
God is so good 😊. What a blessing to see! Hallelujah! Lord God, Richly bless this mom with healing, these families for raising their children to help and East Idaho News for sharing these encouraging stories in the all powerful name of Jesus Christ amen and glory hallelujah!
I don’t know about the States but young people don’t always have the best reputation here in the UK. The vast majority I have contact with tend to be good people like other generations. I do feel sorry for them, their big moment on TV and their faces are covered with masks.
@Sh L well Gee, hmmm, i think its hard to turn a tv off that i dont own. Havent had one in over 20 yrsmyadult life and didnt have one growing up.also domt have no internet or tablets or computer or any social media. I watch youtube occasionally. I have a peice of shit dollar store phone. Apparently you need to getoff the couch amd explore and you will see how righti am
I had to check what year this happened when I heard maverick store. Maverick market was an old school childhood store in my home town in Deep South texas. No longer exsist here in Texas. They had the best lunch and snacks .
Lovely teens. Great character in all for helping. Ashley- like stop using like every 10th word. You are more like intelligent than that. You’re a great person- like!
Nice people but like I’ve never like heard someone say like like so many times like it was kinda crazy like idk what to think like about this like whole like situation like my mind is blown
Kudos to them, however, the one girl needs help with her oral communication having the word "like" come out each and every time attached with other words. In the future, this young woman's oral communication may possibly hurt her chances when seeking a place in uni and or when seeking out any type of employment when doing a face to face interview.
@@icemancometh8679 , I am an ESL teacher in Japan and it is not used over here in the English world. To be honest, in my boredom and watching Judge Judy shows would not have picked up on this so much had she not made it a point addressing it in her Courtroom. LOL, this Valley girl talk as you put it annoys her to no end, however, she does have a point when she addresses it that oral communication in the professional world is very important and it does hurt when you are using a lot of slang.
@@icemancometh8679 , in addition it was not to come across in sarcasm, however, constructive criticism in the softest way possible because some people are not even aware of the way speak until it is pointed out and one cannot change it they are unaware.
Unless the secret Santa is Ashley, this is a different initiative, but I'm all for any business that wants to partner with a media company and give people exposure who are doing good in the community. It's a win win win, it encourages good citizenship, the media company gets top quality content that people want to come see, and the sponsor gets good publicity.
In other words, "we happened to be nearby and we could spare the time to help, so we did. And we are well raised kids so we didn't think stopping to help an injured woman was any kind of big deal." These kids aren't the best public speakers but their hearts are in the right place.

It's a big deal what you did. You could've kept walking but you stopped and helped someone in need which is awesome.

Some caring teens especially the girl on the right that went over and beyond to support the mother.

Glad to see someone from across the pond! I live in another state, but I follow this reporter - it is uplifting.

Congratulations to the parents of these teens. You’ve obviously done an amazing job raising your kids
These kids are a great example of that not everyone in this world are not bad or disrespectful. These kids restored my faith in humanity
This gives me hope for our youth 😍
Great to see these students making a difference in this world! Thank you for what you did. ❤️ This made my day!

One guy and THREE girls. Great ratio. What a lucky guy!
What a sweetheart Ashley is!! I say this as a mother of a teenage girl lol but to take the extra time and effort shows her heart of gold

Love it. Some good kids. Parents you should be proud.
Great job to them and, especially their parents! They must be so proud of them!
If I was dad to a kid who'd done something like this I'd be fit to burst with pride
Awesome young people hope your mom is better peace to all

They got good parents !
All the problems in the country and this shows what humans to humans relations should be.
I'm from SW washington and tune in for the cute community and Nate Eaton.
I foolishly jumped in front of a moving car once to try and stop it.......Luckily everything worked out and no one was hurt.
Very few kids these days are taught right in todays world.. These kids are the rare exception
People have been saying that for generations

Awesome!!!! Great kids! Any follow up on the escape artist dog? Was it found? 🤪🐶
Please do a follow-up on the burrito gift cards delivered to them the next day! LOL!
Awesome
The amount of times they say like in this video....
Lovely teens. Great character in all for helping. Ashley- like stop using like every 10th word. You are more like intelligent than that. You’re a great person- like!
This is why one should never drive with a dog in your lap.
I let my dog drive is that wrong. Andy England 🇬🇧👍
Please stop saying the word “like“ OMG it drives me crazy but thank you Kids!
Great kids...Enjoy Target...
Poor women my cousins a car attack she nearly died
I like called her husband and like asked where there were. I like dropped cookies off and like. 😂 like like like like lmao
Geez, lay off... she's a young girl with, obviously, a good heart.
Awwwwww
👏👏👏👏👏🏴🇬🇧
👍
this is sweet. lady ran her self over and blames it on the dog though. lol
and dang that girl says like a lot.
She uses it as a verbal filler, like "um" or "uhh." She's struggling to think o the next thing to say and "like" comes out.
Even newscasters are doing this on the air.
How much on the card?
Nice people but like I’ve never like heard someone say like like so many times like it was kinda crazy like idk what to think like about this like whole like situation like my mind is blown
One like thing like my like teacher like told me to like not use like in a sentence but like sometimes like I do it anyway
How much was on the gift caaaRD!
Probably 100 bucks
@Jannett Snow My thoughts exactly!

I was thinking the same thing. She's obviously a super nice girl. Just needs to work on her vocabulary a bit.
@@SomeOne-zw6kh , indeed all of those young people clearly are wonderful individuals going out and beyond to help someone who was down.

Good Lord Teenagers Need To Stop Using The Word "Like"
You are not focusing on the important part of the story
She's not used to publi speaking, cut her some slack.
Darwinism
“ We decided to help the lady” ....“because we were going to lunch” 🙄
