    This was an excellent video Natasha! Thanks so much for taking the time to put this all together! I'm not a big fan of wearing makeup but some of the products you demonstrated might be options for me if I ever wanted to experiment with it one day! Particularly as I get older! lol :) Thanks again! :-D

    Excellent video! I've struggled to find a powder to set my concealer. All have made my dry skin look even more dry, lines look more pronounced, skin crapey and overall made me look much older than I am. I'm definitely going to try the Alima Powder. Thank you! Oh, my favorite foundation is from Fitglow.

      Powders aren't my friend either, talk about aging me a good 10-20+ years! The Alima Pure powder is awesome, it doesn't look like powder on your skin. I'm so happy I found it. Have you tried using a facial mist at the end of your makeup routine? I find it really helps to take away the dried-up powder look and bring life back into my skin. As long as you use a facial mist that has a fine spray and is translucent and no drying alcohols, it shouldn't disrupt your makeup. What's the coverage like with the Fitglow foundation? I'm trying out the Kosas Tinted Oil right now, and I'm not sure I like it! I still got to play around with it to see...

      @@InspireBeauty I would say Fitglow is buildable. I have worn it light to medium coverage. I usually spray my face with either Josh Rosebrook or Boissance Squalane Micronutrient Fine Mist first, then use Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil or Arcona Youth Serum and Biossance Squalane Oil. Between applications I do wait a bit not because of any particular reason other than I have always applied my makeup slowly. Then I apply the foundation. Good luck with the Kosas Tinted Oil...I'm in the minority, I did not care for it at all. It made my face feel extremely dry.

      Thank you for the tips on the FitGlow foundation, I will have to check it out! The Kosas Tinted Oil I've been struggling with. On me, it really accentuates texture, creppiness and wrinkles. It can be terribly unflattering!!!! But, I've found mixing some moisturizer in with it helps a lot. I've also tried using the Vapour Stratus Skin Perfector (primer) underneath it, and it really helps to make it look a lot smoother and more perfected on my skin. I think the Kosas tinted face oil is best suited for oily skin, even better if someone doesn't have any texture or imperfections.
      I recently bought a trial kit from Biossance. I love squalane oil, so I'm excited to try their products out. Looks like they are working for you?!

    You should try the MyChelle dermaceuticals sunshield liquid tint sp50 sunscreen. Its a good sunscreen and the tint can minimize redness.

    Do you ever use suntegrity as a tinted moisturizer. Could you show life how you cover breakouts? I can never get them covered
    What do you think of powder foundation or for covering spots

    • @InspireBeauty
      @InspireBeauty  5 років тому

      I use the Suntegrity 5-in-1 tinted moisturizer every day as my sunscreen. It's tinted, but has no coverage, the tint is just so you don't look like a white ghost from the SPF. They have a new foundation that has more coverage but I haven't tried it out yet.
      I will do video for you how I cover pimples. Right now I don't have any breakouts, so we'll have to wait a bit!
      As for powdered foundations, I know a lot of people who love them who have acne. I've heard great thing about the Alima Pure powdered foundation, and also Bare Minerals you were asking about. The good thing about mineral powder foundation is it sits on top of your skin, the particles aren't small enough to clog pores. Try and get some samples from different brands and try them out.

    Could the powder mixed with moisturizer for makeup work with any powder you think?

    • @InspireBeauty
      @InspireBeauty  5 років тому

      Do you mean mixing another powdered makeup with your moisturizer to make a foundation or tinted moisturizer? You can try it, but the thing about the Annmarie Mineral Makeup is it's pure mineral pigments, there's no fillers or other ingredients and it's formulated to be mixed with liquid products. I don't think other powder makeup would work the same way because they're not designed that way - but you can always experiment and see what happens :)

    Have you done a video dedicated to what products and makeup is safe for pregnant women? If not I would love to see that from my trusted source: you ❤️
    I loved this, I enjoy makeup but I can’t wait for my skin to be clear enough to just wear a tinted moisturizer.

      I can definitely do a video about what products and makeup are safe for pregnant women. Here's a video I did after I gave birth to my second daughter that gives tips for pregnancy skin problems like breakouts, acne and melasma: ua-cam.com/video/c655gXyv_to/v-deo.html

    DO you have any cheaper affordable moisturizer recommendations to mix with the powder foundation

    • @InspireBeauty
      @InspireBeauty  5 років тому

      Any moisturizer can be mixed with the foundation. The only thing the foundation can't be mixed with is sunscreen, especially mineral sunscreen because the pigment colour can be cancelled out my the mineral SPF. What moisturizer are you currently using?

    Do you have a favorite natural deodorant?

    • @InspireBeauty
      @InspireBeauty  5 років тому +1

      Yes I do! I recommend Meow Meow Tweet, Baking Soda Free Deodorant. It works amazing, even in hot Bali. It's also very gentle, I've never had any irritation from it, and the jar lasts a long time (it takes me an entire year to go through it). Here's the link: amzn.to/2D2QK7Y

    I would appreciate your help so much with something I’ve been dealing with. For the past couple of years I have been dealing with oily skin and cystic acne along my jawline. My skin goes through periods where my skin looks great- like in the summer. And also when it looks horrible- usually in the winter. Over this winter it’s gotten much worse. I decided to go the natural route about a month ago. Since I have oily acne prone skin I decided to start washing with hemp seed oil. It seemed to work at first but after a few days my skin got very dry. I got a rosehipseed oil as a moisturizer. Dryness got worse. My acne got worse. I developed small pimples on the left side of my face and chin- which is not a typical area of concern for me. My cysts got bigger and more frequent on my jaw as well. I’ve been trying other kids of oils and moisturizers and it just seems like my skin is getting worse every day. I have a small patch of dry skin that is so incredibly irritated. It’s actually a common place where my skin will flare up from time to time, which I thought was eczema but a dermatologist didn’t help me. Anyways, that’s all flared up at the moment as well. I went from trying to control my oily cystic acne, to having the polar opposite problem where my skin just will not hydrate and it’s breaking out like crazy in new places. And the Weirdest part? While all of this is happening some parts of my face have never looked better!?! Ie. My forehead and cheeks. I’ve seen some people say it gets worse before it gets better, or that your skin will purge and balance out so I’ve tried sticking it out but my gut is telling me something isn’t right. I don’t want to give up but I also don’t want to keep making things worse. Any suggestions or ideas of what could be going on? I’m so discouraged at this point. I may try washing with honey as you’ve suggested. What am I doing wrong? :(

    • @InspireBeauty
      @InspireBeauty  5 років тому

      Hi Deanna, some oils work differently than others. I don't think your skin is purging, but that you are using oils that are drying out your skin, making it worse (yes, some oils can dry out people's skin!). You can try safflower oil or sunflower oil to cleanse with, which is a lot more moisturizing while still being compatible with acne prone skin. For the cystic acne, one of the best ways to get rid of that is eliminating dairy from your diet. Nothing you put on your skin will help cystic acne, it's too deep in the skin and it's coming from the inside out. Working on your diet and lifestyle will get you much better results. I have a free email course that has a bunch of diet and skincare steps to get rid of breakouts and acne, you can sign up at: www.theclearskinessentials.com

      I also tried Manuka honey and my skin definitely improved over the last couple of days. I’m going to keep it simple and as you said pay attention to diet. I’ve been taking probiotics as well as eliminating dairy. How do you feel about soy? I am a vegetarian and eat soy occasionally, but I’ve heard that can mess with hormonal acne sufferers.

    • @InspireBeauty
      @InspireBeauty  5 років тому

      I'm so glad you are getting results from cleansing with honey, awesome! Small amounts of tempeh, tofu, edamame, or miso is fine. Just stay away from processed soy products like soy milk, soy cheese, soy yogurt, soy bean oil, and soy protein powder - those things are really hard to digest and can adversely affect acne.
