Releasing Predathos is an INCREDIBLY BAD idea, and as for the gods I feel like chasing them out of Exandria is giving them the cowards way out. With everyone who worships them (betrayer or not) fighting on Exandria to save them I feel like the gods deserve to pay the people back in some way shape or form.
Thinking that releasing Predathos would have no consequences does a disservice to the writing. If Matt reached through the veil to declare that releasing a cosmic god eating entity that destroyed a whole realm wouldn’t have matching down sides, I’d find that insulting to my intelligence.
They seem to forget what the hunting ground will be (probably the Material Plane, where they live) so a second Calamity worse than the first one is very likely. Even if Predathos doesn't actively hunt down the mortals, they're going to be collateral damage of their battles against the gods.
They keep talking about it as if the options are just to either release Predathos or kill it when they could easily just stop Luda and do nothing. No one there has actually thought this through. In game, they’re acting extremely illogically. Rah rah rah, gods are bad. Seems that’s the main thing going through BH heads.

It would almost certainly become a second calamity if Predathos gets released. A bit off character for the Meighty Nein not to try to really convince BH not to release it. I think that one actual character explaining to BH’s the consequences of the gods being gone might do some good. Haven’t heard anyone truly calling them out on what is quite obviously a horrible idea.

If Predathos were to be released, it might not destroy the planet and just kind of seep through maybe. Defintely leaning more towards keeping the gods around personally.
If they release Predothos this campaign will officially become an evil campaign and Bells Hells will go down in infamy in the same light as Vespin Chloras.
Yeah no the thing is the only person on BH’s side that we know beyond a shadow of a doubt can even try to let Predathos out is Imogen (Fearne isn’t Exaltant even though she’s considered by the group to be a possibility that being true remains to be seen) and I don’t see her wanting to release it if they can take Ludinus out. Personally I feel like the move would be to use taking out Ludinus for the gods to open up negotiations with the Pantheon and have them give up their divinity into Exandria as some sort of natural resource.
Honestly, it has never made sense to release Predathos (with or without the bridge). If they release Predathos then there is no reason to even play Campaign 3, as the whole goal is to stop Ludinus and his plan. It would only ever make sense to release Predathos if they joined Ludinus/Ruby Vangard. Without Bells Hells Ludinus would free Predathos andthe Gods would ever flee or be eaten, meaning there are no stakes at play if they side with Ludinus's plan after killing him. The only reason it would make sense is if you believe that either Imogen or Fearne can control Predathos and stop him from destroying Ruidus and Exandria. But if they can control it then why can't Ludinus, especially because he is anicent mage from the Age of Arcanum who has been absorbing powerful being for centuries.
Im not fully caught up but this already is going on in ep 107/108 the discussion. I think you could break it down even further why they shouldn't release Predathos, next to the very big point of killing the Reilorans (spelling?): 1) when Predathos gets released, who says the debry doesnt fall on Exandria killing millions? 2) If Predathos is released who can say for certain he wont eat the people, like the ant metaphor? 3) what will happen with divine magic and the consequences of that divine magic, which also follows question 2, will Predathos then only swallow those people that use the divine energy? 4) What will replace divine magic if at all and the consequence of what ever replaces it? Divine magic does give regular people that are not connected to the arcane powers the possibility to reach magic. 5) what actually happens with magic? If its also handled by a god, and they flee/get eaten, what happens with that? 6) will truelly all gods leave or only the Primes? Not a nice foresight. 7) if all gods leave, what will happen, do all the elementals return or will the demonic forces see an opportunity, because maybe the Blood War will slow down at one point in favour of the demons because Asmodeus isn't controlling the Hells anymore? 8) Why are Ashton and Dorian so angry with all the gods? I can see Dorian hating Lolth, but you are taking that then out on all gods? If it is too much power in such beings hands, that I can see be a reason to not want to deal with the gods, but hating them or truelly see them be snuffed our chased off, you don't know the depth of the consequences. 9) if the Luxon is also a deity, wont Ashton be a target? And even if he wasn't a target and the Luxon would flee, what will happen with all the souls that are connected to it in the Dynasty or with Ashton themselves? Will the Luxon be ripped out of his head, killing Ashton? 10) Is it that the gods caused the calamity due to their might? Watching Brennans recent run, they caused it before they were fully powered gods, so technically speaking any Aeorian could have done it without the gods, just that the divine magic might not have reflected on the individual that unleashed the power. 11)...
