    I had the 1978…bumblebee yellow and black. Had monoshock rear suspension at that point. This brings back memories 👍

    I had a 1975 version of that same bike when I was 18. I'm from Oklahoma in the U.S. The paint scheme was slightly different. I bought it brand new and it was really a bullet proof, and very beautiful bike. I put a 1 or 2 tooth bigger sprocket on the front and geared it up just a little because I mainly rode mine on the streets and secondary highways. Once, however, I was in the woods and went down a super steep hill and lost control and fell headlong over the handlebars and hit my head on a rock. I was wearing a very cheap helmet and ended up with a concussion. Fun times!

    What a beautiful bike. Where do you get all these fantastic classic bikes? Here in Sweden they are almost impossible to find anymore. Thank you for a great video. Really appreciate that you leave the original sound, and stay away from putting any music in your videos.

      Over here in the UK, I have a Swedish 1982 125MX. Imported in 2019.
      From what I understand quite a lot of European DTs have ended up over here in the last 10 years.

    If you only had to ride it on the road would you change the tires so road tyres? Or are the "knobbly" ones still safe in the wet? Thanks

    • @micoumeekoo
      @micoumeekoo  23 дні тому

      Hello. The 1976 knobby tires where not very safe on the wet. Modern knobby tyres are OK nowadays.

      @micoumeekoo  7 місяців тому +1

      Hello. This part of France is "l'aveyron", between the towns of La Canourgue, Séverac le Chateau and rivière sur Tarn, near Millau. This also on "les Causses" and les gorges du Tarn.

    how is the power compared to a 175?

    • @micoumeekoo
      @micoumeekoo  13 днів тому

      The power is lower on the whole range wit a 125 than compared to the 175. With the 175 cylinder, the torque is more pleasant, particularly at mid range. No need to ride at high revs.
