These are so cute! They certainly would make wonderful gifts, especially from a mother to a child for "back to school" - what a treasure to keep forever! 💕

I have SF 101, would you suggest using 2 pieces of this interfacing (one on each side) as its a lighter weight interfacing? P.S. love the clarity and great tips!!

It depends on how stiff you want the bookmark. I would suggest trying it with one and seeing what you think. If you want it to have more body, you can absolutely use two layers.❤️

Forgive me if this is a super stupid question, but for the interfacing you’re putting on the inside of the bookmark, are you using the same double-sided Heat-n-Bond fusible interfacing/stabilizer that you use for the appliqués, or just and interfacing/stabilizer that is fusible on only a single-sided? I just want to be sure I don’t go out and buy the wrong thing, especially since I’m just just to do a couple of these as test runs. Lol!
Thanks so much in advance! Also, thanks for creating this super fun and easy tutorial and giving the pattern to your newsletter subscribers. Sorry again if it’s a stupid question.

That is not a stupid question at all! It’s a different product. It’s a one sided fusible interfacing/ stabilizer. I like a medium weight but you could do a lighter or heavier weight if you prefer. The one I have on hand is Pellon 808 Craft Fuse for reference.
      Happy sewing!!

Are bookmark tassels always attached to the top? Never to the bottom?

You can absolutely sew them to whichever end you like!
