If anyone has ever listened to John Mayer’s live album “Where The Light Is,” you’ll appreciate the licks between 3:27-3:50. That’s a straight up nod to that live performance of neon.
@@zargomik yeah lol. Anyone who’s never heard it would be like “what kind of garbage is this?” It’s a very technical phrase. It’s a very fast triplet section and he never misses a note and maintains the tempo too. He has more talent in one finger than I do in my whole existence.

It’s just ridiculous how this playing is. The percussion, the tempo, the cleaness, the left hand execution, the picking, the compositon... The perfect example of a guitar being a whole orchestra.
This is the peak of acoustic guitar playing. Impossible to improve from here lol. Playing the regular riff properly is normally a huge acheivement for most acoustic players!

First moment I was skeptical because John is typically using only thumb and index finger for his fingerstyle technic . That being said you have surprised me in a positive way because your technique worked out well. In general you have exceeded all expectations for a song cover and therefore I started looking for your tour dates. Unfortunately nothing yet planned for Munich in 2024 - would be glad to see you live one day.
Most guitarists see it as a huge sign of skill to just play this song. Sungha flexed on em so hard no one is even going to try to play *this* version of the song.
Absolutely brilliant! I love when someone can cover a song but make it their own. This is still very close to neon but if you’ve ever tried to play it, you know just how different and amazing this is 👍🏼 keep it up please!
