Just came across your video. Great job explaining everything in detail!!!! I have a 2014 Tundra with a 5.7L. I can't wait to get the Jayco feather micro 166...
Hope you are enjoying your trailer years later. I'm always nervous about towing with a vehicle's max tow weight. (People and gear to the hitch weight. But awesome review. 👍

Love the review. Great points on the the lighting, bunks and outlets. I have a Honda Ridgeline 2022 with a max tow capacity of 5000lbs. I wish i could tow this comfortably.

Hey, Thanks for sharing. We have a 2020 Tacoma TRD off road and are getting a 2020 Jayflight 224BH, so this is interesting to see. Question, what's the towing like with the coach loaded?

Hey Congrats. You’ll love it. Towing with it is fine while “loaded” just gear, minus fluids in the tanks. As you probably already know the Tacoma doesn’t have the best gearing for towing. You just have to go slow and take your time. Make sure you have a good weight distribution hitch and a full tank of gas. It’ll drink gas just like any other vehicle towing 5k lbs.
Any time you have any questions feel free to ask.

Is this rated for cold weather? We are looking at these but I haven’t found anything about all season or 4 season.

I don’t Know officially if it is. But I would
have to say it's probably not. I've seen
a few places where the plumbing lines
may be a little exposed to the
      elements that would cause concern
for me. With that said the inside living
areas are well insulated and keeps us
warm or cool during the summer and
      fall periods.

Good informative video. Can you share what your experience has been towing with your Tacoma? I’m on the fence of getting this tow with my 2021 Trd sport (tow package). Would you have gotten something lighter like 4,000 lbs if you had the option?

It tows ok. I think the truck can handle the 4500lbs, but the gearing for the truck is what makes it difficult IMO. I’ve also heard many others complain about the same thing when towing with a Tacoma.
I probably wouldn’t have gotten anything lighter seeing this is probably as light as we could have gotten and still have the double bunks and outdoor kitchen.

GLAD TO HEAR YOU HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS, getting my 2022 224bh very soon. can't wait to go camping. how does the ac work when its super hot outside? and i'm not liking where the tv is , but, it is what it is.

The AC is very strong. I think it’s a good size unit for such a small space. It gets pretty cool/cold when it’s hot out.
      Congrats on your new rig.
