    Holy crap this is a first swing home run. I absolutely love this layout. I am absolutely loving the kitchen space as my wife does. Definitely a winner in my book. I just like the way everything is sectioned off. And truly being a travel nurse I like the idea of the little office in back. I do agree that the fuse box needs to be moved for easier access. Honestly, I would put it up in one of the cabinets if possible because it looked like you could still open up the upper cabinet. As for the light above the bed, I totally agree. They need one. Or if nothing else just those little bit of reading lights. as for the lights throughout the camper that are the beam lights, I would think they would be OK if you had a dimmer switch. The only other thing that I could see would be to extend the shower another four or 5 inches to fit somebody with large shoulders such as mine lol. Don’t wanna take a shower and come out bruised.😂. But again overall, this fits 99% of what I’m looking for. I don’t think it’s great for a Tacoma but I think if we boost it up to a three-quarter ton like we’re thinking it will do just fine. Great video, buddy. Keep Rockin It Josh.

    Great stuff, Nerd! Terrific layout, with some excellent design choices (desk space, front kitchen). A layout like this screams “extended dwell couple”, but the problem with that is the limited cargo capacity. Campers who indulge in extended timeline camping tend to bring a larger amount of personal goods. It wouldn’t take much aboard to either be routinely loaded at capacity or even exceed it. The builder should seriously consider upgrading the axles to higher capacity. Additionally, the absent entertainment center isn’t going to appeal to enough of the market. The no-TV-camping people are out there, but they’re squarely in the minority. The builders should consider a TV mount above the window that hinges the TV flush against the ceiling to stow it. This leaves the counter and window clear when desired, but permits excellent TV viewing alignment from the theater seat.

      There's no question the CCC is "modest" at best (and that's being kind really)
      That is mostly a factor when towing, though. If stationary, then I'm not sure the limited CCC matters as much because you're not putting mobile stress on everything
      I'm not saying you should go stupid nuts overloading at a site of course

    I love it. Nice front kitchen in the lower budget class. I like that they'll be extending that countertop out for the chairs to sit under. I also think they should add a few inches to the SIDE of the countertop, so another person might be able to sit there if they wanted. You could still access the cabinet below it. The storage areas in this things is amazing, but we need to be careful how much and where you pack it. I'd like a hide-a-bed, for my tag-along sister. Speaking of hide-a-bed, have you SEEN👀 Winnebago's new version of a 'hide a bed?!" it is awesome! You can see it on 'Matt's towable' UA-cam station, being unfolded...2025 Winnebago Access 25ML. It's crazy and looks very comfortable for a hide-a-bed.

    King of the Nerds delivers another excellent review of an awesome new layout! And, since you keep asking, never stop covering both the good/bad, both the inside/outside, and both the open/road mode views. Us lesser nerds greatly appreciate your thoroughness! ;)
    The video title nails my reaction to this TT: how is this under 29 feet long? I love this floor plan, the amount of inside storage is incredible (but likely easy to overload with the limited CCC), and I think this is the best layout I have seen for a front kitchen style. The exterior storage is limited but I could live with it by dedicated the under bed storage for exterior needs, especially since there is a built-in griddle. I would like to see a couple of minor tweaks should someone decide to offer this in a fiberglass line: retractable rolling shower door vs. curtain, lights and some sort of storage or shelf above/beside bed, (was this a full queen or king I missed that detail), move the breaker panel to a more accessible location, and TBH that is all. I have no problem with the missing oven since there is a combo micro/convecto cooker, and I have no problem with having a non-mounted TV in the living area. I think I have mentioned before that in my world TV at a campsite is for nighttime inside or daytime outside (football games), so when the sun is done pull the shade down and pop the TV up on the countertop, perfectly across from the very nice looking theater seats. TV size is not limited by the location of a factory installed wall mount; It is only limited by what I am able to carry or fit through the door!

    The lower cargo capacity might not be as much of a issue when u consider the kitchen storage being up front it'll probably transfer closer to 15 percent or more weight transfer so probably a little over 1000 pounds transfered to the truck.

    Great storage in the kitchen, and love all the counter space. Also love the bar dining instead of a dinette, but do wish there was a better TV option for the loveseat (which I like). Kitchen rawers seem to slide very easily and it seems like they’d open and close constantly on the road. That’s not so great. Also, I am not a fan of the walk-thru bathroom configuration, although I can understand why they did it that way. It’s just … some people take a longgggg time in the bathroom in the morning after their coffee, and I would not want to have to pass through to get ready for the day when certain stinky things are taking place, know what I mean? 🤢 You’re right about having USB outlets - they should be everywhere at this point, including next to the bed. And for the bed, I prefer to have a side table or nook or somewhere like that to put my book, phone, earplugs, etc.

    Love the layout. A couple of things, fire extinguisher needs moved as I can see the chair knock8ng it off, floor vents are ok but why in middle of floor? For wall with large window by dinette, maybe a smaller window and place for TV, or the hideaway pop up TV in counter? I can see this for retired couple, so a TV would be good. A simple storage on back bumper answers the lack of flow through storage. 😊😊😊

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  2 дні тому

    1) Nice affordable beginners camper I’d say. But is it the second camper purchased the first tine around? Probably not.
    2) L❤VE the counter space. But you said that the supplier couldn’t make one solid piece of counter. Ok, I get that; but carpenters for home construction can order counter tops with a 45 degree cut and all the measurements fit for the install, so why can’t the RV industry do the same? I get that these things are assembled by hand but can’t some computerized things be cut for installation and a perfect fit?
    3) You said that this camper is for the people who wish to get away from others and not have any sleep overs per se….. somehow I don’t think that the pineapple 🍍 crowd cares so long as they can party 🎉 😂
    4) L❤VE the storage.
    5) I like the desk.
    6) I take it that when you empty your fresh water tanks it goes through the grey outlet?
    7) The Springdale was a little more expensive. I presume that’s due to destination charges?
    8) You might be getting old, but I’m older than you; so if it makes you feel better, you are a pup 🐶. 😂
    9) Great video and nice first time camper. Will have to add it to the infinity list of 37 to consider. 😄

    Amazing Kitchen layout! I love the no TV spot! I would just get a projector screen to use as a roller shade over the window and a little projector and BAM entertainment central! Really disappointed in no oven. I think a kitchen like this appeals to cooks, and cooks want an oven! I would sacrifice an overhead storage to put the microwave up there to get the oven. 👍🏽🤠 Once again you show me things I’ve never seen. Great kitchen counter, love the extra space, and I actually prefer white lights over yellowish lights, LOL! Decent sized refrigerator, the SHELVES in the upper kitchen cabinets are also a sign they THOUGHT about the customers needs, HELLO! 👍🏽😎👍🏼 And the small desk/make up spot in the bedroom is also great! (Needs a deeper counter for use of a laptop or PC, but still nice!)
    Edits: 1. I can’t find the shower size anywhere on their or your websites. Do you happen to know the measurements? (No need to measure, not sure I’m interested enough to waste your time.) 2. Manufacture MSRP does not stay the same overtime. You may not realize it but a lot of people watch these videos sometimes years later and I don’t want them to get bad info. Current an accurate pricing is always available one click away with the link that I leave you in the description.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  2 дні тому

      I’ve actually seen some trade-in RVs where somebody laid down the rug, basically traced out where the vent would be, then cut that chunk out of the rug and screwed it down under the metal grate lol

    The lack of an inverter prepped plug at the desk is a miss in my book. Saw them in the kitchen, but what if you need to keep your laptop topped off or run a monitor or something for a day? Need inverter prep there too. May as well toss a USB c plug while they're at it.

    Love the counter space, but the outlest on the left should be back in the corner. Propane oven is not a deal breaker. Wish the dining bar was a bit wider (6-8") if it could be done without hitting the slide when closed. I really wish that someone would develop a ceiling mount for a tv that could pivot down for travelling or when people want to watch something but would store at ceiling level otherwise. Not a big fan of the shower. Big step up and no door is not happy making. I wish that the sink space had a full width counter top instead of cabinet space at that level. The desk space is very nice (can be a makeup station in the morning). Slide box should have some side shelves by the bed. Good catch on the fuse panel. It should be up front near the door. I really like the open feeling of the front half; but the bedroom is kind of a mess.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  День тому

      TY Heath! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and share.
      Shelves in a slide by the bed is something so many bed-slide rvs are lacking. The thing is they end up more expensive than people would thing
      A shelf itself is cheap. That's not the issue. But even a 6" shelf on each side of the bed means you have to have an extra foot of length on the RV to make room for them.
      And each foot on a product like this adds about a cold $1,000 between material, labor, chassis, etc
      So.. with bed slides we rarely get side stands worth a darn

    What an amazing residential layout with the theater seating and breakfast bar👍the only big misses are no TV for “cold rainy days and nights”🫤and the entry level bathroom with a cheap plastic toilet, a low lip shower with a curtain😳and Dollar Store 4” fart fan😢

    Like the space. Do NOT like the upholstery. Cabinet color is good. Good storage space. Nice windows. Floor vents. Who cares. Tri fold sleeper, please. Like the bar eating area. Would like the refrigerator to open BOTH ways. I do like the bottom freezer. Love the wombo combo. Prefer a shower door. Bigger fan please but I can Change. Awful, cheap bath faucet. I'll change it. Cheap toilet. Like the desk. Great storage in bedroom. Yes inverter position could be bad. More electric in bedroom. USB and household. Good road mode. Thanks for the review.
