I’ve read a forum on Trip Advisor about people saying g there was human feces in the ocean and beach, others chimed in and said it’s not human, it’s manatees. Did y’all have any issues regarding this when you were there?? TIA

Hi! Just a heads up, this pump and similar ones are not mean for potable drinking water, so this is likely not safe for drinking water. My hubby built his own potable water pump. Don't mean to be annoying, just looking out for another Canuck! Great camping videos!

when you said lots of chairs and stuff thats the selection side not coral.... coral pool is cleaner in my opinion, food is better, you have options like Chateaubriand at the American bistro that selection guests have to pay extra for, but coral does not, and this mean with cajun jumbo shrimp is amazing !! very tender, better than the steakhouse beef actually...... we have stayed at selection twice and upgraded to coral and it is worth the upcharge. We will not stay at the selection any more....... food is very good quality overall, the grand is even better if you get an opportunity to go there... But the coral with ocean views etc, is overall one of our favorite resorts..

Nice review, totally agree with your comments. This is not a park you visit for the beach, and extremely busy for day use on weekends. We always go here for our first trip of the year since we live so close and last minute weekends trips. The showers are like a pressure washer 😊

We went to the Coral Level adults only, and it was fabulous!!!! I highly recommend it....

Thanks for the review. I consider Pinehurst our home park as it’s only 20 minutes from our home, always our first camping trip every year, looking forward to the next video.

Seasonal camping at Pinehurst is May 1 to October 15. Camping units must be removed and no sewer service, just water & 30 amp.

Looks like a great campground! We haven't done a conservation area yet, but might have to try this one for next season.

Would you recommend this resort for a destination wedding ? Or is there a better resort on the Cancun side with a private beach

We go to balsam pretty much yearly. Just an hour for us, and usually in the fall. Were just there for Thanksgiving and it wqs a much colder weekend. Ya that part of the park is all that is open late in year and too wide open for us. Usually tons of colour at that time of year.

Super random but were you in Milton today (oct 23) around 4:15 on Bronte?! I was driving home from work and I see this Tesla pulled over on Bronte and I’m like HOLY **** that was a UA-camr I watch!! If there wasn’t traffic I would’ve pulled over and said hello but it was busy. Cheers and keep up the great videos.

😂 Yup, that was my husband! Lol. We camp with our kids a couple times a month and love your camping videos. Watch camping with the coles and some others as well. We were behind you at water waiting for our turn not realizing was you as you were filling on other side. Your daughter got out of truck and I said to my husband, isn't that the canucks camping family? He said yeah! That's his truck! I told him not to go say hi with that shirt on, lol. My father was born and raised in Dildo, Newfoundland and go there every summer. Lots of family there. Thus, the shirt from Dildo brewery. Balsam is awesome in fall. Most campgrounds closed though there though in fall. Cedar is open, you might enjoy that better for fall over Oak and Ash. Maple is closed but so pretty with fall colours for walks. The trails are lovely in fall too. Summer is nuts there though...too busy for us. Sorry I did not say hi!

We feel the same about Balsam - nice park for a quick trip (for us) but not one we are racing to get back to. Looked like you had some great weather!

The caterpillar is an American Dagger Moth Caterpillar. They have poisonous toxins on them that they inject into you. It can cause a stinging sensation and rash. Nothing long term from what I understand. We had them at Awenda Provincial Park a couple of years ago, actually falling from the trees. Our friend had one land on her neck causing a rash. Very weird and annoying.

Another good video,we sometimes go to Balsam Lake in october,not busy at all which is nice,just drive in and get a site before 4pm when staff leave,save the $13 reservation fee,go when the weather looks good and enjoy.

I appreciate the videos you put out. Our family can’t go camping more than once or twice a year so our camping time is precious. We would hate to waste it on a sub par park.

We love Gatlinburg, I think we might have been there the same time, we saw that car of fire! We went back this Sept we went through West Virginia and stay at the same Hampton Inn! We rented a cabin, loved it. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

I’m sorry about your trip not working out. We have been in situations where we had to make a decision to go on a camping trip or not, because life happens, and I think the worst moment is when you have to make the decision. But once it’s made, either way, that stress goes away. Hope everyone is well. Looking forward to your next video.

Useless Fun Fact: there are no Deer in Newfoundland, however there are a lot of Moose and some Caribou. No skunks or porcupines either 😊 Garter snakes are here (I presume by accident, not native here..actually moose are not native to Newfoundland either, they were introduced as a souce of food/meat) Cheers,

You're right about the preference for food. People do need to understand how to distinguish what taste good to them and the actual quality. For example, I don't not like a lot of food but mushrooms isn't ideal to me... but I'll eat it. If I taste the quality and the flavours are there, I would still rate it well.

Killbear, I had a bit too many libations and also went for a walk to the beach. As we left, in the middle of the path, was a huge boulder. I didn't see it because it was so dark. Walked into it, did a cartwheel over it, and separated my shoulder...memories..lol

I checked the info and could not see the breakdown of the costs. I did see all the links to the cameras and music that was used. Looks like a really fun time. I don’t live too far from Elora, I think I’m going to try it. Thanks for the video.
