Yes I have also worked on my Hohner Regina 4 register buttons - I am happy to note i cleaned the sliders just as you did - still having an issue one of the registers when you press the button sometimes does not change the register - i guess that something is worn or not quite in the right place - will investigate soon. Interesting that my accordion(1941) has very similar type of register change although much less complex with two palm buttons and 4 choices available
