  • I ditched my hi lift farm jack a while ago and was looking for another solution for a jack to use, well, more on my gravel and grass driveway but also if I wanted to take this thing with me off-roading. I made some bottle jack extensions I keep in the 4Runner, and have another 3 ton hydraulic jack I use in my garage, but this Harbor Freight Badlands Offroad Jack looked like a great purchase. I wasn't interested in dropping $600 for the Eagle Offroad jack but this Badlands version came in at $300. I could do that. It took me two months of waiting after I preordered it for it to come in to my local Harbor Freight.
In this video I go over initial assembly, and then getting it into use.
Verdict??... I really like it. It went together pretty quickly and Harbor Freight provides all the tools you'll need for ongoing use of the jack. It's QUIET, unlike my garage floor hydraulic jack. That other jack is horrendous on concrete driveways. This Badlands Jack is smooth to roll, even over grass and gravel. It easily popped my Tundra and 4Runner up to rotate some wheels. The 4Runner is lifted and even with the jack extension on the lowest setting it still easily got the whole side of the truck off the ground.
    Very happy with this purchase.
