Haven't caught the paint part yet. Just watching the puppies being born is so exciting to me. I used to raise poodles myself. Reds were my faves. I still have all my moms and dads. They're all spayed and neutered now and older. But I totally miss having puppies around all the time. Your video just makes my heart melt. My first born mama dog heard your pup's whelps and popped her head up with extreme interest. She was always the best mama dog I ever had in my life. She absolutely loved, loved, loved having babies and being a momma. I'm so happy for you on that and now, off I go to watch the paint video. Congrats and thx for sharing!

Wow! Tired of the Dragon Scales? NO!! Love them! The third one you unmolded, with the "unmixed" gold mica, is so stunning! The deep, "unmixed" gold seems intentional, and gives such depth over the clear! Little gold nuggets falling into the abyss! I keep looking at that one - I find it incredible! Happy accidents! Just beautiful!!

How precious! We have kindred hearts. .We are the proud parents of 1 Blue and Gold, 1 African Grey, 1 Yellow headed Amazon, 1 parakeet, 3 cats and 1 Great Pyrenees dog. All get along very well ...oh ya and love your art!

Pretty! I've been doing coasters with the "dragon scales" for quite some time... lots of colors, 3 colors and white between each layer. I love the way they turn out!

They are beautiful.I think the reason the cells are bigger is because the space is bigger it gives them more space to spread...I still love them,a shame you lost the purple but that’s how the cooks crumbles lol! 🥰

Please keep doing dragons scales I would love to see some other colour combinations. I also like to see when things don’t go to plan so if something similar happens to me I know It happens to others as well and thanks for the chart for resin i mainly use the platinum range. Great Job, I tried your last colours and the dragon scales came out great except you couldn’t see them as the 1st blue was too dark. I am going to sand the top off one and see if the lighter scales underneath show up better. 😃
Outstanding, Julie! I'd be interested in seeing these in different colors. And I'd love to see videos of what you consider fails. Saves us all grief, and also inspires, in case we WANT to try those fails. Also, on the mica mixing, you might try pre-mixing the powder in with a bit of alcohol first. I have heard that helps t b e powder dissolve better.

I wonder if the colors are having to stretch more because it a much bigger mold. And in stretching more it would make bigger gold dragon scales. Perhaps a little less gold and darker in the other colors, though not sure about the white. Hey?

The babies are adorable,the cracking is maybe bigger on these compared to the other one because the coasters are bigger,i would love to see you do basically purple and pink with just maybe a small touch of gold. :)

Does the size of the coaster factor into how the design is done? Because the first single coaster was in a smaller one and had less resin being used.

Hi Julie!! First off --- How beautiful, another baby is born. Such a lovely, heartwarming picture, thank you!
Second --- Remember, sometimes we learn more from what some would say is a mistake, or what didn't work, while others might really like the result.
Third --- Maybe next time, less gold and more of a more intense purple (if that makes sense to you)
Question also --- Why did you add the white? It didn't seem to show up in the final piece
Love your channel, I do like the resin pieces, but I like your acrylics more

Hey Julie.....I like the tops. They look like abstract violets. I think you were channeling your inner Georgia O'Keeffe. The dragon scales are getting better. Hopefully you will be able to perfect your recipe until you can replicate the originals. 😉😉😉
A warning on pups being born would have been nice. Hope they all came out well but more interested in your wonderful art work. Maybe you could save the dog stuff until the end. Just a thought. Thanks again for sharing your art work.
You made the blue way darker on the little one then you did on these big ones. I watched both videos and I noticed that the darker blue makes a big differences and helps calm the gold down!! If you want it to be more purple or blue you have to go darker on the blue and purple so it doesn't change as much when the other colors mix with it :)
They look great, i love the floating gold. Maybe the blue needs be lessened, use a mica powder purple for it. Use more purple than the blue that was first put down. I dont know, im just guessing. Take care. Or maybe work with colors from outside to center.

I had to help my dogs give birth.. like a nurse I got my syringe, phlem sucker, scissors (sterile for emergency’s)and towels ..lots of towels welcome bebes❤️

Does the liquid tint dilute the resin making drying time longer if you add more?
Try using a heat gun as opposed to the torch… more uniform heating.
