Oh LeAnne these women are after my own heart. Each one is just beautiful. Hexie's are my forte so those really spoke to me. I have Hexie's coming out my ears. I work on them when I have nothing else to do. I have 3 Hexie tops made that I need to quilt. Love & blessing to all of you beautiful Ladies.
My goodness! What beautiful work! There is no way I could choose a favorite. As the wife of a disabled veteran, projects like yours are close to my heart too. Thank you!
Wow just Gorgeous ❣️ Makes me want to get started on a new quilt. The quilt by Mary Frances is AMAZING! Loved Jackies wallhanging quilt too. So much talent in one place!!!
Oh Leanne! They were ALL so beautiful! And what lovely ladies! I can't sew a stitch, but I would've LOVED to be there to try. Thanks so much for sharing!
How beautiful! Many hours of tender loving care have gone into each one I am sure! Makes me want to get back to quilting again! Currently crocheting lap robes for Honor Flight veterans. (And getting a garden in... LOL!) Thank you for sharing! Blessings on your day Kiddo!🥰🌻🐛💕
I love to quilt and this was so great to see all the lovely blocks and quilts being worked. I really want to make a quilt of valor, as my husband is also a veteran and it’s a worthy cause for my hobby. I should get busy.😊
LeAnne this was wonderful! What talent in that room full of women! I could not imagine choosing fabrics to put together in a quilt! Wow. I had chills watching the veterans with their quilts.
WOW. Those are some talend ladies. The old feather weights are perfect for quilting. I love mine. I’m looking at a strip quilt top I made a few ago in my first quilt class and I still don’t have it quilted!🤣. I want to make it into a day quilt…someday! Lo
Thank you so much LeAnne for this quilt and sharing your quilt retreat with us. It's been a very long time since I've been to a retreat. The quilts are beautiful! Eloise's is so special. I've also made quilts of Valor. It doesn't seem like a lot but the veterans I've made them for love them. Your scrappy quilt reminds me of 1930s fabrics.See you in the next video. Peace and blessings.
Awesome! I'm a quilter too! I can appreciate all the time and effort that went into all of them. I really like the fabrics on the first quilt you showed.
I did a weekend retreat YEARS ago and had so much fun! I haven't quilted in a couple years but I am hankering to get back in! I have so much stash to use up! My sewing room is up stairs and I can't do the stairs any more (or I don't like to). I have found a folding table to put in my den...now to find a project and get my essential gear down here. I made two of those string quilts Ester was pinning. They are so eye catching and use up scraps! I love scrap quilts the most...guess it's the frugal satisfaction kicking in lol! I wouldn't mind a sew along with you someday :)
Hi LeAnn! A quilt is a labor of love. How beautiful all the quilts are and love the fabrics chosen, just beautiful. All the ladies are very talented and the detail on some where spectacular. Your quilt is beautiful LeAnn, just lovely. Have a blessed night!
LeAnne, we watched this last night and had to watch again today. All of the quilts and squares are beautiful! The quilts for veterans are also so sweet! We hope you finish your quilt this year, lol!😂 great video. Cheers to all of the quilting ladies!
So much fun! There’s just nothing like being with like minded friends working on projects. I’ve been to a couple of retreats and they are so much fun! I saw several patterns I’d love to make including the one you’re working on. I’m going to save this video so I can go back and get the names of them. Saw several featherweight sewing machines. I absolutely LOVE them!! I have one but I’m in search of another. Can we buy the raffle tickets? I’m sure many of your subscribers would be willing to for such a good cause. Also, you should ask Leisa. Let me know how I can purchase some p,ease. Thank you for this video. It’s nice to get away from cooking sometimes isn’t it? Happy quilting.👩🌾💚🪡🧵
Let me see what I can do, and get a hold of some tickets. Just watching the ads on my videos and using my affiliate links helps to support the quilt making for the veterans

Esters quilt reminds me of a scrap quilt. I keep saving all my little pieces knowing someday I will use them somehow! I love that appliqué! I may have seen some “flying geese” in there! Awe…. That wall hanging will be such a wonderful keepsake! That 3D looking Maze it incredible! A few years back I went to the Missouri Quilt Shop and saw that material you used in your quilt. It took a lot for me NOT to buy it, ha! Someday I want to make a Quilt of Valour for my daddy. And if I can… I’d like to also get my Aunt involved and we could make some for all the men in the local Legion! I started the process to see about getting the pattern and making it all official, but never followed through. I think it is an amazing program!
