I prefer sewing with curated scraps over buying fabric for a project. I use my color wheel to get the most pleasing coordinated scaliness. Enjoyed your technique. Thanks.

Thank you very much for your interest in my work!!! It is very valuable to me))) I sew a lot of children's cotton pajamas, pillows, bedspreads and mattresses and therefore I have a lot of scraps left))) but sometimes I still buy scraps in sewing workshops)))

You do beautiful job with scraps. It woul be nice if the measurements woul exactly number, for example instead 8.3cm or 1.6inch why can be 8cm or 1 inch, 2inch, etc., instead broken numbers. That's my opinion only.

I would think you could adapt these techniques to any size you wanted. Just find a zipper that matches the size of the squares.

Maybe these strips are leftovers from another project and just what she had.

The dimensions indicated in centimeters always go in whole fractions, and I don't know inches well, so I do the conversion via Google. If you look closely, you will see that size 8.3 is inches, and in centimeters it is 21 cm.

I believe it’s fusible interfacing. Used to be used for shirt collars ad cuffs or any place that needs a sturdy result. Not stiff or sticky.
