    Nice bike. I hear the tank capacity could do with being larger, but I guess it's not marketed as a long hauler more of a 'bobbing' around town bike. There's a bike for every purpose, just wish I had the funds and space to own them all.

    Great review. The Bobber especially in this amazing colorway has to be my favorite looking bike period. This paint color and scheme looks amazing. One thing I am wary of and maybe you could speak to are keeping after spoke wheels with tubes. The 2 bikes I've owned have both been with cast wheels and tubeless so I have no experience keeping up after spoke wheels like these. It strikes me that any spoke wheel it'd be a colossal PITA to keep the spokes, rims and hubs clean and corrosion free. (Are those spokes stainless steel?) The rear because of chain lube cast off and on this bike with that front 16" rim with very large rotors on both sides blocking access it looks impossible to clean. Hard enough on my present bike to get rags and hands etc... around the dual rotors on my present bike. Tell me why it's not the big deal I imagine as I really might want one of these someday otherwise. Presently I'm on a 2023 Trident which I love but it doesn't really speak to my soul. Thinking about a Speed Twin 900.

    • @MOTOUK1
      @MOTOUK1  Рік тому +1

      Hi Adam, yes agree the bobber Goldline sure is a looker, stunning in person. The spokes are stainless chromed I think. The spokes on my T120 really look well built. Agree takes more time to look after but do look the business.

    • @MOTOUK1

      Speed twin is beautiful bike too. That would fit and feel better I think

    • @dustytriumph
      @dustytriumph Рік тому +1

      @@MOTOUK1 I test rode the Speed Twin 900 twice this past fall. Once back to back with a Trident 660. I also test rode the Trident twice. Yes they are very different bikes but I loved them both for their respective differences. I really had a tough time choosing between them. It wasn't so much a choice as a flip of the coin as we only get very short test rides over here so it can be difficult to really get a sense of a bike. I could have just as easily ended up on the Speed Twin 900 and almost did. As it turns out I sure have been thinking about that bike a lot lately especially since coming across pics of a new 2023 red tank colorway and bumping into a rider on a Street Twin a few weeks ago. That stock exhaust sounds unbelievably good.

    So you’re saying that the Gold Line version has a different rear shock than the Standard Bobber? I’m pretty sure it’s not adjustable. The Soeedmaster is adjustable well, pre-load is, I believe…. The Bobber is however, not!

    • @MOTOUK1
      @MOTOUK1  2 роки тому

      No not saying its different but most shocks have preload only adjustment so assume it does.

    • @_OpdeeMist
      @_OpdeeMist 2 роки тому +1

      @@MOTOUK1 unfortunately that is an upgrade. As I mentioned before. The Speedmaster is the only one that comes with the pre-load adjustment. Crazy, I know because they are the same price and the Speedmaster comes with a Pillion seat and pegs….. Strange how they can’t use the same rear shock on the bobber… How they can justify the same price scale on the bobber with less parts and even skimp on the pre-load shock….
      I guess the old adage: less is more comes to reality here…😁

    • @MOTOUK1
      @MOTOUK1  2 роки тому +1

      Strange i don’t get why you would not include a preload adjustable one as we are all different weights aren’t we and one cannot suit all, i will be asking triumph why.

    • @_OpdeeMist
      @_OpdeeMist 2 роки тому +1

      @@MOTOUK1 it would be nice to know why…. If you know someone in the design team ask them to implement auto cancel blinkers (signal indicators) too could you…..🤭 It seems like a if an electronic packaged deficient system like the Indian Bobber could have that working how could the Triumph Bobber/Speed Masters not.
      Oh, while I’m at it….. Tubeless or run flat tyres….. it’s getting more and more difficult in most countries to get a tube tyre fixed at the side of the road off the beaten track……😜
      Maybe when you get your Speed Master review done you could add Triumphs (brain fart) reasoning why they didn’t include pre-load on a basically a carbon copy bike from the Speed Master, the Bobber…
      Ok, I think that’s enough….😜
      Cheers..,.👍😁

    • @MOTOUK1
