Maynard really reinvented his voice on this album, and he pulls the different "characters" off beautifully, live. Forget some pitchy bits... he really sounds like he means it. And THE END line? WOW. Didn't expect that.
Yeah I guess even Rock gods wake up with a scratchy throat at times before a big gig and the throat lollies, leamon, honey, tumeric and salt water oh and port is good for the throst too lol doesn’t quite get it to 100% especially at 50

At 1.40 the line "Way me Labor, Deliver them More", I'm not sure it's intentional, but MAYNARD actually sings ONE NOTE - word for word, goes - B B G(UP OCTAVE) B B B B A - B:... (on the recording it's B B B B B B A G - B)... that high G note sounds so awesome, I wish they had put it on the actual recording. He almost never improvises, and I know why. I am surprised, songs like this are pretty difficult to do on stage. It is not a standard rock music. Personally I think he sings better in this band and in Puscifer than in Tool nowadays. Especially in this last album.
also have to add - incredible powerful performance by EVERYONE. Although I do like a lot of slipknot's stuff - I see this as being heavier and addressing a good issue lyrically than ANYTHING Slipknot have done (but yes, I love Slipknot.)

Its messaging is important, but in my mind not something which should be revelled in. I could be misreading the song. I might also be a little coocoo for cocoa puffs.
Oooooh maaaan... I almost sing better than Maynard in this Live. Maybe he should have prepared better for this Live, definately he doesn't taped to his full potential... the Studio version sounds more epic than that Live. Anyways, I'm sure that he does it better in other shows.

I was tired to hear him sound so "sleepy" in the Tool gigs and compared to there, here he sounds pretty good for me. I assumed he wouldn't do the growls due to his age (in Tool), but he does. He's clearly burn out of TOOL, so I know which band is worth the price to see live. What a pity for Tool.
It is terrifying that we have strayed this far from Christ that this "song" is acceptable? This is blasphemy. How could you stray so far from Christ and be without faith to encourage others to forsake the meek and merciful? Sad sad sad.
Because Christ is a myth, we humans been always so far away from that ideal that we invent it wishing to become better persons, but we fail, we’re doomed
