I can attest to being left handed in the military. I was the only leftie in Bootcamp, and after that first round went into my BDU top...I instantly became right handed.

Great review. I like the idea of the fire team, but the follow through as far as design isn't my favorite. Personally, I like the way BATs look with the HISS. They look great and are intimidating looking when coupled with them.
I haven’t even opened my HISS Tank yet since I am waiting for my 3 Fire Team 788 figures to arrive which should be in a few days, kind of glad I will be getting them before Christmas as I would have just opened the HISS Tank on Christmas. I did buy a second carded Cobra Commander for a reasonable price so I can keep one MOC and will most likely and will likely get a second gunner, tactician and driver as well. Great review, did you only back one? After seeing reviews I kind of wish I would have backed another one. I also should have backed another Dragonfly

I was kind of hoping that the next Haslab would be the MOBAT but the Rattler seems like the most logical choice but I also wouldn’t mind seeing a classified Skystriker with Ace. Are you going to back it?
I don't know if it's the color scheme but the range viper does not look as intimidating as the blue one. I think the blue brings out that skull face better.

i’m not a fan of the range Viper but my husband is says it reminds him of a mercenary he saw in central Africa that wore a ballistic mask and scared the living hell out of the men of his unit. Said he was glad that man was on their side.
With the prices Hasbro is charging for these, we should at least expect decent quality control on the accessories (non-bent weapons) and even include pinless joints. Still excited to be getting these soon! Great, thorough review!
As I’ve discussed before, bent weapons is not a QC issue, it’s the hardness that they use in their plastic to keep this for 4+. I agree it’s a problem for adult collectors, but Hasbro still wants to make it seem like these are for kids.
these figures are awesome! Im going to get this pak even though i dont have the hiss tank because I dont want to pay for scalped range viper prices and hoestly the red and black looks better than the bright blue plus they will fit in with my crimson guards
Assuming it was a deliberate decision, my guess is they went with a more muted color scheme for troops that will theoretically be operating on foot and in the field around the HISS itself. Brighter colors would just mark them as easy targets.
I have a stupid question, has anyone figured out what the holster on the officer's back is for. The one on his belt on his left hand side? The backpack is for his rifle and the holster on the right is for the magazine to his rifle. But, what the heck is the one of the left for? It looks like it's supposed to hold a suppressor, but, he didn't come with a suppressor. If someone figures this out, please let me know.
It’s the same belt that comes with the regular Officer, it’s meant to hold the flashlight that goes on the AK that comes with the regular and PP Officers.
I wanted this but once I realized they are just going to be more gummy weapons I canceled it. I need more cobra troopers in my collection but these are overpriced and I prefer the stiffer weapons of the older versions. I will wait and hope for hasbro to re-release cobra troopers at a more reasonable;e price at least. I am severely disappointed that they charge so more for their 2 packs and 3 packs. Not much more in this case but it irks allot once you combine it with the derpy weapons. Also I don't mind that they are pinned joints. Pinless is nice but I like most of the existing pinned molds.
i see hasbro pulse has free shipping right now. Even to Canada. I bought some more cobra valkyries. At least those gummy weapons look appropriate on them and they are MY figure of the year (even though I'm a vala shill to some) so I had to take the opportunity to get 2 more. Apparently pulse isn't always sold out. Nice to see they do restock figures. Now if only they offered cheap shipping all year. I don't necessarily need free shipping but they are offering 6 buck shipping on all orders under 75 bucks right now. If they offered 10 dollar shipping all year I'd buy all my joes there.
Pins are awful looking, but it’s reuse so it’s gonna happen. My real issue with this batch of figures are the Range Vipers arms, they hardly move up and don’t go down to his sides at all, but even worse is the Officers legs, mine at least are forced to stand with the feet spread extremely wide, to make him stand with his feet close together, I have to use the drop down hips and it looks terrible.
I really want more versions of basic blue cobra troopers. And can they all please come with a version of the AK rifles they've already done (cobra officer and the alley viper) plus one with an actual RPG or even a mortor? The carl gustav is bazooka's weapon and I don't like it when the mix and match weapons between cobra and joes. Their distinct faction weapons are what helped what made them joes and cobra distinct from each other in the older lines. It makes the line look sloppy when you mix forces weapon types. So Hasbro please stop putting AR -15/M-4/16 weapons on cobra figures. Spend an extra 10-50 cents per figure to give it some distinct accessories for the factions. Plus dear god use a stiffer plastic on the weapons. It doesn't have to be valavse stiff but honestly I've dropped allot of those figures and I've only every broken off the tip on one m-16 gun on my hardwood floors. I fixed that with a pin drill and a thicker cylindrical piece of plastic and some copper rod and now the gun looks like it has a silencer.
That’s actually a pretty accurate M32A1 40mm grenade launcher (Milkor MGL) they do have a sight like that, so anyone who’s complaining about it, is just uneducated on firearms and to lazy to use google.

The price is not going to drop, don't give them false hope false hope!!! 79.99!! Now as for the price…when things are a package deal you expect them to cost less than individually. This is why we have places like Costco and Sam’s Club. You buy a 6 pack of pop because it’s cheaper than buying 6 20oz bottles. Just my opinion but it’s normally how the world works around us. I was lucky to get my H.I.S.S Tank at a reasonable price with all the tiers, this will go great as reinforcements with my Tank troops.

Well I’m sure there is a reason they did it, but have you seen some of these colors they have, Cobra is a snipers dream in some cases.

They don’t seem to have a standard when it comes to the durometer of the weapons.
