@@beesbattlegrounds I have no basis for my prediction. It's more of a hope, since no e currently work and the MMS will be big enough to use the correct blast effects
Great review. Mine arrived today. The shoulder on my range viper is stuck even after the hot bath. Which sucks, because he was the one out of the set I wanted the most.
I liked the Mauser auto pistol for the officers I'll miss it :-( especially as they didn't give them something else instead that is more modern like a 1911 (lol) .
I just got my set last week and I like them but I do agree that it seems it was like a afterthought somebody at Hasbro said hey we should make a trooper 3 pack to accompany the hiss tank and they had to rush and slap it together so they would be released around the same time as the tank
I also didn't back the Hiss I actually just started collecting gijoe after the Hiss but this set looks pretty ok ..Want to get the fire set for the range viper because seems like Walmart has scalpers selling og range close to $80 plus shipping. Anyways great review and good luck with the CC replacement 🎉🎉🎉
Nice review, just one odd question, does your range viper have a sort of tearong at his right shoulder? My two og range vipers had it and it bugged me gor a bit
Thanks for the video. I really like the fire - team. It's unfortunate that on one of figures the paint job is not so good. I think, that this can happen, it shouldn't but it can. I was also keeping an eye on the Cobra Fire Team. I think I will pick them up. I like all three of them and the paint job is also amazing besides the little mistake. I didn't had the chance to get a Hiss but I hope, that they will re- release the Hiss so that everyone will have a chance to buy one. The Hiss is also amazing, I was watching your review of the Hiss. Keep up the great work. I wish you and your family Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024. Greetings from Europe.
Got my set yesterday. I would have been satisfied with the normal Officer loadout. This one seems kind of tacked on. Also, I wish they had included a pistol for the Infantry. I would have traded a few blast effects for that. Decent set, but not as good as I had hoped.
I didn't back the HISS (I considered it but it just ended up not happening for a few reasons, money being a big one) but these guys honestly still look pretty cool even on their own.
It seems like Heat Viper would've made more sense since he an anti armor specialist. Heat Viper is from '89 and that year hasn't really touched except for Alley Viper and upcoming Gnawgahyde. Range Viper and Heat Viper would've been a better fit for the Hiss 2 since it could carry troops. Maybe another trooper could been in place of Range Viper.
My head canon is that they just have some type of laser shooting AR hence why it’s different looking and instead of a 40mm grenade launcher they are rocking like a 20mm 203 lol. Gotta make budget cuts somewhere.
nope the actual symbol is upside down. When the light projects the signal the head is opposite of what the box and other pictures I've seen show it as. It's freaking crazy man.
@@beesbattlegrounds the head of the snake appears under the chin of the tank. It's supposed to be the other way around. The actual disc that has the logo is oriented so the bottom of the emblem is pointing towards the sky.
@@DomVonDoom that's how it's supposed to be, so when it projects onto the ground, if you're looking at the HISS from the front, the Cobra logo is correct
I originally pre-ordered two sets of these, but after seeing the first review, I realized it wasn't worth the price tag, especially because I was unable to get a HISS. so I canceled my order. I severely dislike the fact that Hasbro opted to keep with the "officer swap" gaffe from Python Patrol. At least with Python Patrol we got the Officer gauntlets. Here, we don't even get alternative heads. I also don't like that they're using the Valkyrie weapon load out that doesn't fit the OG web gear holsters. It is the laziest repaint the team has put out and for once, I am not biting. I would rather save for the upcoming releases that seem much better.
@beesbattlegrounds I find it curious that in thier thirst to reissue parts and accessories, they never, ever, ever...reused the Officer chest piece with the rank, and they have not reused the troopers vest. I wonder if those molds were lost or broke.
I love black and red , the artwork looks great . I cancelled, black Outback arms , red skull nose and cheeks, red harness and knee pads , just don’t like it . Glad everyone is enjoying it , looks gaudy .
Ugh. Regretting cancelling this set. I didn’t get the Hiss, but I love these colors. But too much stuff was hitting at the same time. Hopefully Pulse will restock at some point or it will be the secondary market. Oh well.
Honestly i rpefer this deco for the range viper. i think he looks way more intimidating this way. even though he feels like they just added him because he was a recent hardly used mold.
more grey weapons. dumb location to put that semper logo on the officer. lazy and looks like poop. knife is too freaking small!!! WTF hasbro? didnt expect blue blast effects. dont hat them, dont love them. ranger viper got all the logos, dumb, lets see how many logos we can fit on this guy. thank you for the review.
Fluffwise, if the viper replaced the classic trooper and the range viper replaced the viper ... This combo makes no sense plus I don't like them in these colors
Ordered it… bummer that they spread Snow Serpents weapons across the Infantry & officer. The weapons don’t suit the officer so well. (Wrong knife and guns don’t fit in the backpack)…. Looks great otherwise
