It's definitely been the wettest spring and early summer i can remember in England, seems like France is the same. The restored floors are giving the house it's character back. It was a great thing to restore them.

The different parts of your farm/house renovation are really starting to come together! I am amazed at how much it seems to rain there, but I think it is better than being in a drought. I love how the small villages have these market days with different themes. I would really take advantage of the wine day!

Hello Bram & Simon. Don't be too depressed about all the rain. It is far better than a drought. The east coast of Australia has also experienced higher than average rainfall over the past few months. We are also tired of the rain. Will your lovely bathroom have a bathtub for your daughter? The dividers in sash windows are called muntins, I think. They support the individual panes of glass.

Love the bathroom and the floor! Such amazing taste. This week’s highlight for me was where Simon does something on his own and its a huge deal! Bram does most things on his own but “just get on with it”! Nothing like consistency! I know it will take years for this whole project to complete. Hi guys, wrt the kiwi you have to check if it's self pollinating or that you need to have a second (male) kiwi plant. This year, I've planted 1 male (no fruit, just flowers), 2 green and 1 golden kiwi plants in my garden. Hopefully they will produce kiwis in a few years :)

We do have them in the US - and they must have come from England cause all the older homes here in New England have them. I think it was because it was easier to work with smaller pieces of glass? On the newer energy efficient windows, sometimes that piece can be removed. It’s there to give the new window an “old look”. I’m sorry for giving you such a long answer 😂

Hello Bram & Simon. Don't be too depressed about all the rain. It is far better than a drought. The east coast of Australia has also experienced higher than average rainfall over the past few months. We are also tired of the rain. Will your lovely bathroom have a bathtub for your daughter? The dividers in sash windows are called muntins, I think. They support the individual panes of glass.
That's true! also for all the plants this is much better this way. but some sunny days would be lovely. Yeah the bathtub will come but first the windows have to go in.... Ah thanks, we don't even know what they are called in dutch haha. Have a great weekend!

This week’s highlight for me was where Simon does something on his own and its a huge deal! Bram does most things on his own but “just get on with it”! Nothing like consistency!

Hi guys, wrt the kiwi you have to check if it's self pollinating or that you need to have a second (male) kiwi plant. This year, I've planted 1 male (no fruit, just flowers), 2 green and 1 golden kiwi plants in my garden. Hopefully they will produce kiwis in a few years :)

We do have them in the US - and they must have come from England cause all the older homes here in New England have them. I think it was because it was easier to work with smaller pieces of glass? On the newer energy efficient windows, sometimes that piece can be removed. It’s there to give the new window an “old look”. I’m sorry for giving you such a long answer 😂
