In this episode of "Welcome to the MEU," Lance Cpl. Randy James explains how Marines train for fast rope insertions. The Marines and sailors are with Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
Each episode they'll take you behind the scenes and into the action of a MEU. Follow for a ride in the back of amphibious vehicles, in the pilot seat of aircraft and at the helm of a Zodiac.
