    This is one of the best property tax videos out there. Please, never take this down. All that is missing is a sidebar segment on how those small decimals can be converted to millage rates. I use this lesson all the time in one of my math classes. Thank you for explaining how it works with multiple examples. BRAVO!

    They increase my taxes every year but that pothole and street light still the same since 5 years ago. But yet when a pothole appears on a suburb street they upgrade the whole block with new asphalt.

    You completely and totally ignore the fact that municipalities artificially increase property values to pay for additional bloated services, unecessary upgrades, projects and wage increases by assessing properties higher every chance they get.

      you are correct. This video is like blowing sunshine you know where. I can guarantee many will fall over when their new tax bills come in in this ridiculous market. All because real estate agents have overinflated pricing to line their pockets.

    financial reverse engineering. the powers that be in whichever municipality determine how much they want to collect in taxes. they next determine what value they will place on each property that value being proportional to but not directly related to the real selling price of the home. by increasing the assessment rate, they can post their tax rate as lower as if they are collecting a pittance of the income from each property owner. bah

    Start with the definitions for that title. The definition for person is a corporation, trust, association, et.al. In order for a property in any of the 50 states to be taxable, it has to have a situs (place of a crime or business) attached to it, in other words it has to be producing a profit. Through a return required by the Florida Department of Revenue for businesses, that is then sent to the property appraiser to notify of a privilege being conducted in the state. The homestead exemption is an application to exclude your “place of shelter” and exempt it from the portion of your property that is exercising a privilege, to operate in commerce in the state. Regardless of what the PA classifies your home as, it is not taxable and it is the intent of the Florida Legislature to be in compliance with the Constitution of the United States. Taxes are handled at the local level. It is the intent of the Florida Legislature to be in compliance with the US Constitution. Go ask your PA to show you what statute shows you are a taxpayer and the proof they have that shows you are operating in commerce. Bet they send you to talk to the county attorney.

    First, it is unconstitutional to lay an indirect tax without apportionment. Second, tax assessors are laying and collecting tax outside their jurisdiction. Third, home goods and personal effects are non taxable. You must be operating a business or Corp or some taxable PRIVLEDGE to be taxed on your private property. Fourth, property tax is organized crime , extortion, treason, etc. They have illegally converted your title to say “real property” in order to extort and steal from you. The only taxable property is real property. Otherwise you are entitled to life, liberty, happiness, and THE RIGHT TO OWN LAND. YOU ALL NEED TO SUE FOR ALL THE BACK PROPERTY TAXES STOLEN UNDER CONSTRUCTED FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD!!!

    So never upgrade your home and drive the taxs down... let's see bought a property in bc it's says assment 249k.... asking 149k... paid 120k... so in 2019 it was 94k in 2021 jumped 169 then 2022 249... then sold in 2023 for 120.... somethings very fishy

    I’m so sorry to interrupt, but that is false information. If you own a home on private property in the state of Florida and that private personal property is in NO WAY ASSOCITATED WITH AN ACT OF COMMERCE or profit producing activity….there is no tax due at all! Your shelter is not taxable. The exemption you are applying for it to separate your homestead from the peroration of your property that is operating in commerce. Start researching! Ask them to show what proof they have that a business is being operating on your property! All 50 states….your home is exempt from taxes!

    Property taxes are illegal under the 16th amendment. It only gives Congress the right to tax and only on income, not on a property you are living in.

    • @jacobmarley2417
      @jacobmarley2417 2 місяці тому

      lol good luck with that. You need to read the 16th amendment again because it says nothing of the sort, Stop watching youtube revolutionist videos and think for yourself.

    • @Gmac_Greg_M

      @@jacobmarley2417 I’ve read it several times.
      “The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.” It specifically says it can tax incomes. Living in your home is not income….
