How about rating movies on a point scale, but points are earned on individual aspects of the movie. For example, 1-10 points for each of these following five catagories: Story Screenplay/Dialog Acting Directing/Cinematography Music/Sound With that example, the full amount of points a movie could get would be 50 points. So a movie could score anywhere from 0 (being horrible) - 50 (being perfect). and/or you could even grade a movie like you would one of your students, F- to A+. Just need to come up with a cool name for whichever type of rating system you deide to do, like The Odieometer.
I would argue that interpreting a movie based on a simplistic rating system is a lazy approach to hear an opinion of a movie, and one should instead hear an elaborate evaluation articulated with words. There are some things numbers can't quite communicate.
Damn that voice is smoother than molasses
Gracie friend. I am sure your voice is nice as well.
@Prof Joe Also, thoughts of winter on fire today in hindsight of current events?
Some type of rating might be a nice addition
What should the scale be?
@@JoeLaRocca I like 1-10 but that's not very creative. Or something like Joe's "Reason to Watch " might be cool
@@JoeLaRocca 0-5 joes
@@JoeLaRocca 1 to 10. Can be many aspect to give 1-10.
You should give a review on Ukraine on fire. Its much more detail.
Yeah more detail but nowhere nearly as emotional and innovative.
Much more detailed but complete pro-Russian propaganda.
@@Jordan51203 so American are not using Nazi Ukrainian ?
@@JoeLaRocca yes because it was funded to be shot as good as it is..
@@thang8801 no, they are not. That is delusional

Too complicated. But a great idea! How do you like what I came up with?

Hey I was watching a review, and a wild Radiohead concert pop-up. WTH?
Funny you mention that - I just stopped that part of the show after 2 years! Should I continue?
@@JoeLaRocca Yeah, keep that. Maybe you can put some overlay with info about the movies while you play.
Can you read me a bead time story?
Sure thing little buddy
