One time a plummer came by said he needed some spare parts from home depot and didnt came back 😂. Called him a week after and he was like "oh yeah im on my way". Weirdest memory issues.
And if “that’s why you do all the work yourself”, why did you have a plumber hired to do what you can easily do yourself and pay top dollar for again, work you can do yourself? This is plain bs...
@@andrealaphilippe5926 technically I didn't hire a plumber. You see, when your house catches fire and is gutted down to the studs, the insurance company pays to have the house rebuilt and doesn't allow the homeowner to be his own contractor. So the homeowner has to choose a general contractor, cross fingers and hope that are at least halfway decent. The GC supplys all of the subs. Meanwhile the homeowner is displaced living in the next town over and cannot be at the house all day everyday overseeing the incompetent workers because he still has to hold down his job. That my friend is not BS.
The plumber could have at least told you the disposal unit is leaking & removed it for you & installed a standard trap so the sink would at least work. 😉 that's what I would have done.
Most of us would come back and fix it. He prolly used silicone and forgot to tell ya to let it sit a few days. Silicone is a cheat code for sink drain flanges. But he might come back. The greatest plumbers made the most mistakes but owned up to them. Doesn’t hurt to ask. We would love to show up to your employer and point out mistakes if that’s ok? Maybe we can blow it up on UA-cam before asking you if it was a simple mistake or malicious intention. Gonna bet it was a mistake. He shouldn’t be using silicone. But it’s worth the benefit of doubt to ask if he will come back. Bet he’ll use a bucket to catch water instead of paper towels. When you start criticizing, you better be perfect. Character builds the greatest plumbers , not skill. Even the best have a hiccup from time to time.
watch part 2 and 3 of this video. it explains how he installed it wrong. This guy was a total hack hired by my general contractor ( who turned out to also be complete hacks) They were hired to completely rebuild my house after a major fire. Every thing they or their subs touched was complete hackwork. EVERY SINGLE THING.
I think this is plain fake and a clickbait to get views. And in the unlikely case this is real, you sir should have hired a licensed plumber that’s got great reviews and not pay until all work is completed and the job checked twice for leaks.
it's real. his general contractor was being paid by insurance to rebuild this man's house after a massive fire, which was probably caused by the exact same general contractor's sloppy handiwork in the first place.
Brand new remodeled house. Not even moved in. No bucket or bowl to be had. So I'll say the "class A" plumber who can't do a simple garbage disposal is the more stupid.
@@paypatay1 well you had time to bring your gun so why not go and get a bucket rather than ruin the base units by allowing so much water to pour into it rather than stop at the first drip. No I think you win the bigger award
@@paulgannon3261 I don't keep a bucket on my hip all day every day. No time was spent going and getting anything. The water had already been leaking plenty when I found it. Another 8 0unces wasn't going to do any more damage.
@@paypatay1 it only leaks when the tap is running so damage only occurs when people run the tap like you. Also how do we know it was the plumbers fault maybe the waste disposal is faulty or more likely you are trying to stitch up the plumber and make a claim
Continuing to run water knowing it’s leaking on some builder grade cabinets with a couple of paper towels isn’t very smart.

bc he suffered a major house fire and insurance is paying for all this. if he did it himself he'd have to pay out of pocket
because we have jobs ? and it's not about plumbing yet we need to be there or we get fired?

A real plumber checks his work. I guess it was a Friday
Guess this video randomly popped up in your feed too

I really like that sink!
