Wow I will have to try this . I recently had a nasty sciatic nerve flared up, could walk for about 8 weeks. I just started to walk slowly about 2 weeks now. I went for Chiro adjustment and it seems that he screwed up my back. I am in more pain. Maybe because it was from lack of experience. I wish we can find a doctor like Dr Berg here in my state.

Dear Dr Berg, as a long time yoga practitioner - and one-time teacher! - I do appreciate your sharing this vital information with us in an easy-to-understand format. Believing strongly in the body’s innate intelligence and its healing abilities, and in the “food-as-medicine” dogma, you bring it all home to me in this perfect package called Dr. Berg! at the age of 10, i fell onto my tail bone directly onto the point of the pavement raised by the roots of a tree. i’m 57 and once in a while i’ll get a excruciating pain at my tail bone, not my neck, but my neck has always been stiff. but that pain......it’s nothing you’d ever want to experience because there’s nothing you can do other than lay down and suffer for 45 minutes.
    it’s f******ing unbelievably painful !!!!!
this video is the first and only that has ever mentioned a tail bone injury let alone a remedy.

Thanks so much for this video Dr Berg!
My tailbone was broken when I was 12...roller skating and two older boys thought it would be funny to skate really fast on either side of me, sweeping my feet out from under me, I landed hard, squarely on my tailbone. Could not move for a few seconds, in agony...dragged myself to the edge of the rink, pulled myself up with my arms and used the roller skates to roll myself off the rink. It was horrific.
Ever since, there have been issues intermittently.
The manipulation of my skull helped relieve some SI joint pain! I did it myself to see if there was any hint of relief, and there was, but I appreciate it’s not ideal. I have a fellow friend Osteopath who I’ll ask to do it for me.(I’m a Homepath btw).
Anyway, your videos are really a breath of fresh air! Thank you! 🙏🏻💗🙏🏻

Geez, Dr Berg!!! I think I just stumbled on this particular video of yours on my smart phone on UA-cam!!!!! And boy, am I happy?! Because I had a major tailbone injury so many years ago now!!! I was rollerskating up in Anchorage, Alaska, with an old boyfriend of mine, and his half Vietnamese son!! We were really having fun, going with the crowd with the music, going around in circles… Somebody suggested that this young man should try and skate between my legs from behind me… wasn’t a very good idea!! But he was so tall, plus his skates brought him up even further, and he couldn’t make it! So I ended up falling straight down and bouncing some right on my tailbone!! I’m sure I cracked and broke it!! And I never went to the emergency room or doctor to get it looked at and/or treated!!! So when I was giving birth to my second son also, I could feel the tailbone injury… I really need to get someone, probably my husband, to massage my neck, as you demonstrate here in this video! I have had & I am having so much pain now with my lower back, down into my pelvic area and hips, down my thighs into both of my knees, which have so much inflammation!!! Plus I’m sure I have A pinched sciatic nerve… And our old chiropractor said I have a deteriorated L3 and L4 disc, etc., etc.!! Anyway, I have been in a world of hurt!!! Thank you very much, Dr Berg!!!

I've had left (S-I) pain for @ 19 years now. The stretching exercises never relieved the pain. What did help was (1.) Taking my wallet out of my (R) pocket while driving long distances, (2.) Going from 3 sodas a day down to maybe 1 or 2 a month to reduce my uric acid & (3.) Getting a family member between 60 - 110 lbs. to actually stand on the joint as I lay face down on the floor. Now #3 really reduced the pain from an 8 to a 1 and the relief lasts for a few months. PS. Doc, you are one of the best around. Thank You

Sitting upright is bad enough for the human anatomy as we evolved to crouch (as in tall grass to hide and avoid being eaten by predators !) and wallets in our back pockets , over time, is one of the biggest causes of pelvic imbalance and pain. So many people don't understand that such a "little" thing can cause so much agony!

He’s a Vietnam Vet and ex jock and other things that have been rough on his body. Unfortunately, he’s already had some nerves burned in his lumbar region and is looking at having it done in the SI joints. I worked all around the sacrum and glutes/hips. I worked the psoas too. Have occasionally had SI joint pain on and off for years, I did a lot of physical labor, and didn't know why I hurt, but my jeans were a bit tight and I couldn't afford to get bigger pants at the time. Amazingly...once I got bigger pants, stopped wearing the tight ones I had, and got rid of them, it went away. It took several years to figure out why I had SI joint pain, but I can confidently say I get SI joint pain if my pants/shorts are too tight, because it happened enough to correlate it with tight clothing. When you wear a pair of pants/shorts and have SI joint pain, consider putting something else on to see if it helps/goes away, and is gone by the next day; pants and people are all different shapes and sizes, and clothes fit each of us differently.
That is not to say Dr. Berg is not correct in his analysis, he does really good videos that seem to be spot on for information; it's just another reason for SI joint pain for people to be aware of.

I asked a pain specialist doctor about 7yrs ago what I could do when a latest MRI of my entire spine showed I had cysts ALL the way down my spine from my C1 to my sacrum and my ovaries and she didn't know what to say 😯😔😭🤷‍♀️. She told me to ask my gynecologist 😯🤦‍♀️ I couldn't believe it and my SI joint has been KILLING me for a couple weeks here lately and right before Christmas on December 21st I fell and hurt myself REALLY BAD and laid outside yelling for Help for 5mins and NO ONE came to help me 💔😭 so I had to force myself to crawl inside as I was bleeding and I had to go to Urgent Care and the nurse practitioner NEVER checked everything and I'm going on the 4th of January 2023 to see my primary and see if she'll do a MRI to make sure I didn't get a hairline fracture of my right hip because the pain just keeps getting worse. I'm wondering if the Sea Kelp would help all the cysts from my spine to my ovaries? I will definitely order some if so, but I couldn't believe a pain doctor for my back couldn't or wouldn't help me or answer my question about that. SMH😔

I’ve been suffering with SI pain for the past 10 years after falling hard on my tailbone and no doctor or chiropractor could figure out what was causing the hurt. The pain got increasingly worse over time, especially this last year until yesterday. So, yesterday a family friend told my husband that it could maybe be a problem with the SI. So, I decided to look at Dr. Berg’s video on this topic since I’m already a follower and man, I finally found the solution I was looking for in this video. After doing these stretch exercises last night, the pain went completely away, just like that. I am so grateful to you Dr. Berg! You are truly a blessing! Yes I agree that those 3 causes could lead to SI joint pain but the most common cause of SI joint pain come from imbalances that are triggered from muscles in the lumbar & pelvis in addition to imbalances in the movement of the feet and ankles.

Thanks Dr Berg..I have been suffering from pain and compression on my spinal cord L5area.. MRI showed pinching of the cord. I had taken a bad fall 4yrs ago on my tail bone.. post that injury I kept getting once or twice a year shooting pain in my back and a tightness which made me feel I cudnt stand straight .last year things got worse and I got bed ridden for 3 months..every doctor took my history and when I mentioned the tail bone injury they all said not related..today 1st time I hear you say it is connected. Thank you.

The ovary pain referring to SIJoint in not common. Ureteric pain is usually somewhat higher in the lumbar area and referred to groin or anterior abdomen. The most common cause is local SIJoint pain or pain from L4, L5 or even S1 or S2.
SI joint, is a due to Sacro-iliatis.

That was so helpful Dr Berg. Many thanks. I had a whiplash injury in the 80's and over time, at least 1 major fall where I am sure my coccyx was broken... the bruising going from the middle of my back to behind my knees. .. I didn't seek help but am now having pain in both areas, my neck is always clicking and graunching and susceptible to the cold. I have discovered recently that the vagus nerve and sympathetic nervous system can be disrupted from injury to the neck area and can cause immune problems longterm, which I also have ... One thing leads to another. These videos are amazing because they help with educating us about the interconnectiveness of our body instead of "the look here, not there!" medical model. Bessings❤

The Doctor here goes into systemic problems as well. Superb presentation, very thorough.
If biomechanical, there are more techniques for more severe cases to reset the joint.

Broke my tailbone from a very hard fall years ago and back doctor realigned it with an internal adjustment, a couple of months prior to having my first huge back surgery. However, my entire spine including my neck has severe degenerative joint disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, and I have had several back surgeries. The last exercise that you presented for the broken tailbone I was able to perform on myself without any assistance and it immediately helped an old injury at t5 t6 and also relieved the pressure in my traps as well as the rhomboids, so it works for more than just the tailbone, just saying. So thank you 🤗

Thank you sir!... You are the first person I've seen who has mentioned that S-I pain can be 'referred' pain from Uric acid crystals etc... This is the cause of the S-I pain in my own case... Most of the information on UA-cam regarding pain involving the Sacroiliac only covers injury or misalignment etc.and does not mention that the pain can be 'referred' from an Ovary or irritated Ureter... I think this is dangerous as many people (including myself for a while) are doing physical stretches and movements to try to relieve the pain, when that will do little to help if it is your Overy or Ureter... Thanks again for making it so clear.

Thank you Dr. Berg for the great video, I been dealing with this Back Pain for the past 2 and a half years! That last exercise sounds 100 💯 percent on what happen to me coming down on one leg and all the force traveled up my spine, later sometimes stepping down off something I can feel a shock go up my spine still, with lots of back pain sitting and standing, also bending etc...
Can you perform that last exercise by yourself to your own neck and head? I'm trying. P.s after work injury I also have a weak/bad hip with a right torn hip labrum, on the same side as the right SI Joint.
Thanks 🙏🏾 once again and look forward to a reply
P.s, I had that SI Joint Shot a year and 3 months ago, it helped for about 2months ago and Back came the #PAIN, I also have a SI Joint belt it helps some, but as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic it moves a lot

I had to have injections in my SI joints and throughout my spine every 2-3 months 😔😭 I'm surprised your doctor didn't reschedule you for a follow up and schedule you for another injection 🤔.
I hope you don't need surgery on your back!!! Both my parents (now passed) had to have back surgery and my dad's was from being injured on the job 😢 he was NEVER the same and going to have a 5th back surgery before he passed 💔😔...not sure how my mother ended up needing it but she did well until she fell reinjuring it when opening her storm door and a wasp flew in her face causing her to fall. (I think it was Osteoporosis if I'm not mistaken 🤔).
Whatever you do if you do end up needing back surgery PLEASE make sure you have a fantastic surgeon 🙏.

I'm cryng... YEARS of pain was unnecessary. All that ineffective, toxic pain MEDICATION was unnecessary. All that money/time wasted and quality of life lost because nobody could help me. Worst of all, they insinuated that my excruciating pain, to the point where I could barely walk at all, was not real but was in my head. Yet me not wanting to risk going through another spinal injection (or possibly even more invasive procedures or surgery) was frowned upon. i was given up on and told there wasn't anything else they could do for me. WHY did none of my chiropractors know this technique either? Only to find out today, there is an incredbly simple technique that could've given me relief AND a natural supplement that could've aided my healing is almost too much to take in. I know this is an old video, but thank you Dr. Berg. I have hope for relief in 2021.
