Sometimes the traveling shows have special deals.
The PPAC has a balcony area that is standing room only and the tickets are only $10

The performers in this show have a spectacular time doing it. Especially Alex Brightman, who has maybe missed three performances total of all of the shows they've done since the pre-Broadway run last year. I am sorry to say that I think Sophia is starting to suffer major vocal strain, though. But it is getting to be the time where some parts will be given to new actors. I saw the new Adam not long after he began, and he does an excellent job. I also saw Dana Steingold (the girl scout) as Lydia in the show I went to, and she did a great job too.
When even the curtain call is entertaining you know it’s a show worth seeing

As someone who has been on curtain calls for musicals, I swear it is the most empowering feeling on earth... It’s amazing.
Saw the show in previews, got to see it again. Its so funny!!!!

I find it really funny that Winona Ryder starred in two movies that came out barely 2 years apart from each other that are now popular musicals.

for the people who dont know, alex was pointing at a person in the audience because he said a line throughout the show (at least when i saw it) and that was this guy knows what im talking about. he said it three times after a line like, im so alone and sad, and he pointed at the guy and waved to him during my show also. i love alex so much and he made the show so much funnier!

This show has such an amazing curtain call! I love that all the costumes are black & white, and that Alex and Sophia have rhinestoned outfits!
Curtain calls are so magical! I've only received such thunderous applause one time on stage, but the feeling is indescribable. I'm so glad they get (or got 😭) to enjoy it every night!

It will probably take a while. The backstage mechanics are so intricate and everything need to be so meticulously calculated, it will be kinda hard to run around the country.

My acting school is doing beetlejuice as a performance and auditions are tommorow . Honestly its really scary but for me looking at sophia perform just motivates me to be the best lydia I can and if I do get the role I'm so glad I will have such a great actress to look to for inspiration on mannerisms and facial expressions.

@@cait9541 I got Delia Deetz and honestly I am way happier as Delia than I would have been as Lydia, I am much more like Delia, We are practically the same and I’m so happy to be playing her and getting to look up to the amazing Leslie Kritzer now!
