The Bronx used to be ruled by Italians, Irish, & Jewish folks until around the 50' S when gradually the Puerto Ricans started migrating to NYC. Then, gradually, crime increased in NYC, & then it underwent a financial crises. So most of the white folks moved to parts north of The Bronx, Long Island, & NJ.
