Gypsy regular hair spray will work to a point, but Got2Be is the best bet for it to really stay. It truly is like a glue, where as regular hair spray tends to wear out over the course of one wear.

Sorry if you already said this and I missed it, but does the hairdryer have to be on a cool setting or is it better hot? Also, thank you for taking your time to make this tutorial! I haven’t yet tried it, but it looks to be a big help and this gave me the motivation to actually style my wigs!
You want it warm but not super hot! Too hot and it can potentially damage the fibers on the wig but the cool setting basically just blows hair and wont really help set the style if that makes sense!
What I’ve learned from past experiences is that wig heads that are female face shape tend to be smaller than your actual head, so I recommend getting a styling head that is closest to your head size

Can I get some tips on taking a long wig and making it short and fluffy like this? My wig is the perfect color but it’s too long. I need tips on shearing long hair into short fluffy spikes like on your wig. Any and all tips welcome!
Hi so sorry to ask, im trying ti style a wig for my xiao cosplay and it doesn't need any trimming and it came half styled but the top sides seem kinda flat and im unsure how to style it! The back is styled really good already i just think the sides and top need a little more shaping! Kts a sythetic wig i bought
Its no problem!!! are the sides that are flat the parts that kind of flip out for him? If so, I recommend holding the hair in the position you want it, hitting it with some hair spray and then a hair dryer, then letting it cool a bit before letting it go! If you need a little volume, a little bit of back combing could help with that as well! Hope that helps!
A tip to make a really really fluffy wig is to hang it up side down and blast the wig base wit a hair dryer. Then let it hang fore 30 min to cool
