Looks great. I use tamiya NATO green and NATO brown. Learned it from “Andy’s Hobby Headquarters”. I think the colors work well. I’m very jealous of the way you do your camouflage. They always look amazing. Cheers from the States.
I haven't tried the Nato Brown myself. I might give it a go. My camo results are just down to practice over many years. Very achievable for anyone with patience. Thanks for watching and enjoy your painting.
I left it off. Whilst the AA MG would have a mount, I've never seen it in reference photos. And it's the sort of piece that is likely to get knocked off during handling.
@@PanzerSchule I thought it looked odd when I sized it up on the model and I didn't see it in a museum tour of the Hummel, so I'd agree with leaving it off.
I wish I had watched this before I built mine. I put the sides on first and let the glue dry so now I have huge gaps where the front plate meets the sides. Also, I noticed that you didn't put on the MG. I kinda felt I had to seeing as they have a MG on the unit card.
I seldom put my AA MGs on the kits. They are so fragile. They don't have the chunky mounting point that 50cals have. Even 50 cals still break off. If you look at historical pictures, you will rarely see the AA MGs mounted. Even though it was too late for you, I hope the video helps. Thanks for watching!
@@PanzerSchule You were right. Last night I went through all my books and did an internet search and couldn't find a single example of a Hummel with a MG attached in the location on this model. In fact there wasn't even a bracket for it. I've since cut off the MGs on my models and removed the mounting bracket, so the side walls are smooth.
Really helpful, thank you. Great looking paint scheme too.
Thanks Iwan and thanks for watching.
Superb as always mate, really enjoyed this and the assembly guide is extremely useful 😁
Cheers Kristian!
Great tutorial . Thanks for these 2 different painting ways ! Love the camo results .
Thank you Robert!

Great video. Thank you.

Beautiful work what gloss varnish are you using for the models
Cheers, I use Vallejo acrylic varnish. Thin coat applied by airbrush. Thick coats of gloss varnish will darken the surface colours.
The build guide includes a MG mounted on the side. Did you find it didnt look right and left it off?
