After over a month of testing and daily usage for my studio, I can say these are amazing lights and they are well worth the price both in terms of quality and color reproduction. This first wave of new COB (chip on board) studio lights - the RC 120D and RC 120B - really nailed it and as we already see with the RC 220D more will come.

Nice review ! That gives me another option, I'm thinking of getting the Jinbei series.
Isn't there a BI technology that can output as much light! WWRGB because it combines many LEDs so the output is maxed?
Hi, thank you. Not sure why the RGB power limitations but that’s what normally happens. I’ll check out the Jinbei series - don’t know them well. Take care
Thanks man
You betcha
Thank you
My pleasure
Hi, would like to know what to do when the led panel on the SmallRig RC120D reads SENSOR ERROR?
Hey there, unfortunately never had or heard of this issue sorry 😫 mogul want to ask on a forum. Hope you’ll find a way to get it fixed. Cheers
Would you recommend this for wedding videography? Not sure if this is bright enough for the dance floor
Hello, yes sure. Thé problem isn’t really the power but it’s the fact that you might need more than one to make it nicely lit and uniform. But powerwise it is nice (also, depends on the camera u use - for example my Sony has a native ISO of 12800 for filming so that’s plenty of light). Cheers!
they take 50% more power vs amaran 65watt but only gives 20% more light, so not worth it if you working with V mount
👍🏼
I bought the 120B and the tungsten temp went out after 3 hours of use. Can someone please confirm that this is rare (or not)?
Strange… never heard of such a problem 😳
