I saw them in in 04 at some point. In Grand Rapids Michigan at a tiny ass little coffee house called Skelletones. When they started playing and people started dancing the floor started waving like we were on a boat. The speaker stacks were tipping back and forth and almost fell on someone until someone in the crowd grabbed them and braced themselves against them for the rest of the show. My ex-wife, though she wasn't my wife at the time, got sick in the bathroom and wanted to leave but I wouldn't so she just stood angry at the back of the crowd the rest of the show. One of the best concerts I've ever been to still to this day.
+Kaelan Ethridge Amazing bassist indeed! Pete McCullough (their actual bass player) is also a frickin beast. In fact, McCullough plays on Would You be Impressed, not Ansley.
@@jeremiesavage1451 either way Ansley is still my favorite bassist in all of Tommy & The Streetlamps. I love those little melodic things he adds that totally don't need to be there but make everything that much better (like the licks in Failing/Flailing)
Sorry to be responding nearly a full decade later, but to answer your question, it was Xample by One Cool Guy. I have no doubt that at this point you’re fully aware of who they are, but I have just recently fallen down that rabbit hole.
Oh. My. God.
I love Fat Josh!
Holy crap
Well, you've changed...
Wow i have discoverd a relic almoust as old as me. Thank ya Ethan budy for keeping this fine ol treasure accesable to common folk like me
the crazyest thing is I just saw them tonight at the pony and now seeing this video is legendary
I never thought I'd hear "I'm better than you" live ever in my life. Thanks for sharing.
Fun fact: Tomas orignally started to wear his legendary cap to cover that awful haircut :)

@@timmcnemar3910 the first thing I’m doing when all this bull shit is done is going to a concert, hopefully streetlight manifesto
Saw them yesterday. SO FUCKING GOOD. During Point/Counterpoint I got to crowd surf and it was just amazing. Mosh pit 11/10

Josh Ansley SHREDS SO HARD!!!!
I heard they are making another one, if any of you guys are wondering.
Tonight they are back here again 07/06/24
Yep, 2004.
Im better than you (1:08:18)
Thanks so much, I missed that one!!
They did 'Hell' back then? WHAT THE BALLS
Astley is so underrated he is one of in my opinion the best bassists in the world the basest from my band can't even play would you be impressed
Rick Astley is perhaps the greatest bass player of all time.

first album is awesome
this vid is jewel
I miss going to shows where everyone knows the words and sings along.
Placebo_Jones Every ska concert i've been to, a majority of people know the words to every song.
ok
He sings a bit, like at 1:15:00
Is it O.K. to wear a Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution shirt when you're in Streetlight Manifesto?
I can’t tell if this is a joke or not...
Where do I find that electronic version of the outro song?
great
Is there a full version of that outro song available at 01:15:26?
BEAUTY, MONEY, FAME, BLAH, JHSJFHSFJHHJSFHJSFHJFHJSFJH AND GOOOOOOOOOLD
I'd think so, they're basically the same band, BOTAR just has more members.
The first couple songs anyway.
Hahaha Tomas smacked his mouth on the mic
correction: 1:14:55
what song did they play between thatll be the day and a better place a better time?

God the fucking fight song XD
haha, look at young little tomas. smacking his face on mics and what not
I know it caught me off gaurd too haha
Chris Thatcher was jacked
Was??
6:39 Christian Bale smile
I love this so much, but it's extremely jarring to watch due to the lack of sass in Tomas' pants.
...It's almost like watching a cover band. A Really Damn Good cover band, but still.
Tom is clearly embarassed by the things the bass guy is saying... He's just like "ok, let's play my masterpieces shut up"
Why the fuck do you have to ask for permission? What is this, a fucking J.B. show?
