Am I the only one who sees the hilarious irony in singing agnostic bordering on atheist songs in a church? I have been following kalnoky since the catch 22 days. Love that guy. Most underrated artist in.... ever.
I have to agree with you. After really giving the new Toh Kay album a listen I came to this conclusion too, as his damn lyrics really get to you in that setting. This guy can really paint an image in your head and tell a story. Seeing this show was an amazing experience.
That new song reminds me of one he played at the Chicago show. The only lyric I remember from that one was "I go blind", which was probably part of the chorus.
As much as I love Streetlight, some of Tomas' acoustic arrangements of the songs are much better than the ones with the band; the beauty of the imagery in his lyrics really comes through and the intricacy of his guitar playing is pretty damn inspiring! On top of that, he's got that nice-guy-performer thing going on. What a guy, what a gig!
And I was so excited to hear a Toh Kay version of Mephisto...

very much appreciated
Tomas is ridiculously flawless. Thank you very much for uploading this.
I'm going to buy this, and make sure it's done in a way so that he'll actually benefit from my purchase. Damn. Yes, very very much appreciated!
thank you for sharing
Yeah, it is. He played it in NYC and said it was a new song. Thanks for recording it. I didn't think to record until after he played it.
Thank you so much for this.
Also, thank you so much for putting this up on here. I must have listened to it about 5 times in the past 3 months.
Perhaps it is. That's what i'm hoping at least. I liked it.
Buenisimo...

cant work out the bridge but with a capo on 5th fret, it sounds like D, G,A, D for the main versey bits. sorry im far from expert myself

Just noticed @ 31:08 he plays "Your Day Will Come"
What song did he play before the receiving end of it all? The really short one.
Didn't mean to reply to this comment with that, meant to make it it's own separate comment. Damn UA-cam mobile!
At 31:09 Tomas plays the beginning of Your Day Will Come.
