Hey guys! Hope you enjoy this tale! I've had a few people comment about my mention of the 'xx' legion when referencing the mortifactors. When I was doing the research this is what I found...
"The Mortifactors are the ghoulish sons of Arpaza, the XX Legion of the grand Legiones Astartes."
I'm sorry if I have made a mistake as this is also the number of the alpha legion...
If someone could clear that up I would be grateful!

There was a few times Agonialus' voice sounded like Doug Bradley (Pinhead) which just fit so well with the pain/pleasure feel of the story. So well done Vox!

Love the noise marines, especially Ramos the bull from the Fabius Bile trilogy, ripping puny Eldari to pieces. It's such a creative idea to use sound as a weapon and fits the 3rd legion perfectly. Oooh that was a good one, gotta love some fantastic action scenes! Great way of describing the absolute and unique physical devastation that only Noise Marine weaponry can produce. Putting actual classical music in the background was a great touch as well. I am addicted! Can't wait for part 2!

A fine start to could be a great story. What struck me, particularly at the beginning, is how much simular the Noise Marine is to the Lamenter in 'Shame' - even though the two Astartes occupy the opposite ends of the morality/loyalty spectrum, both of them are miserable, isolated, and unfulfilled individuals who are burdened by desires that will never be satisfied. The Noise Marine will forever be searching for newer, more extreme forms of sensation while the Lamenter(s) is forever striving to make the galaxy a better place in the face of extreme adversity and pain. Neither will ever know true contentment or peace. It's really quite tragic when you think about it. Anyhow, good story once again. Also I really liked the music

I’m proud I created a noisemarine so coked out of his mind,so hedonistic, so stark raving gazonkers that he’s in a never ending high. A level of excess so intense that everything is pain, pleasure, and that Hellraiser spectrum in between. A guy who can’t come down and uses this new found state of existence to just ROCK.

Consider the particulars of this combat scenario, a fight in a swamp is all dirty and you've got to deal with the water and muck. Now imagine trying to do that with an enemy that can rock the entire landscape with sonic weapons? Water, muck, rocks and probably more than a few fish go flying everywhere, the whole time your own body is being racked with violent kinetic forces.
