Artists’ Highlight at the Pacific Bonsai Expo 2022 - Bonsai Exhibition - Baikoen Bonsai Club

- In this episode, I had the opportunity to head to Oakland, California to attend the Inaugural Pacific Bonsai Expo 2022 on November 12, 2022 and focus on highlighting several of the artists' and their tree submission. It was on Veterans' Weekend and it was a chance to escape Southern California and enjoy San Francisco and Oakland for a fun filled of bonsai and site seeing. If you still have time to view it live tomorrow as it conclude tomorrow around 4pm so if you are in the area its an awesome show to visit. Thank you Eric and Jonas in putting forward the effort for gathering some of the premier trees on this coast of our great country. As for my special sagebrush trees they probably be in major development until I'm in my seventies.

@@BaikoenBonsai the yamadori sagebrush in my icon the one that started my bonsai journey died when i lost my younger brother. Since I lost everything due to being away from home and my wife didn't quite understand how to take care of them I nearly gave up on my love of bonsai. Since then I bought more sagebrush planted them in my yard along with other native species. Now I sit on it and let them develop.
I wish I could of displayed my 17 year old Madrone bonsai. But they didn’t except it unfortunately 😅
I would love to see it in person. I love seeing fruiting trees
