Hopefully it’s going to be a great season for BPB. Love the little touches around the park. I really hope there isn’t e-ticket scanning on Valhalla. Not only from the safety points you mentioned but if the boats are constantly moving, the staff will really want people to board asap. With scanning your phone, it just adds such a faff and could seriously harm operations. Wish BPB would just scrap it altogether. Fantastic vlog!👍

I can't wait to get back on Vally! went on it when it first opened in 2000 and I'll never forget it because that year, everything worked on it! I hope they don't change too much on it, the soundtrack was iconic!

While I personally don’t mind scanning my phone, I think that unless they are planning on a lock box system for Valhalla, then it would be better, even purely from a queue management perspective, if they didn’t use the scanners for the ride, so that riders could securely protect their phones.

Cannot believe we're still ride scanning 😢😢😢😢 Great news they are giving the Dipper loads of TLC. I've came to hate it but I really want to like it the way I do Nash and Streak. That black Enzo T is stunning. Seems like BPB have put a hell of alot of effort in this close summer. Get rid of scanning and it will be the best park in the UK again.
Good video by the baldies although I have reported them for filming on park. It was amazing to be back and very exciting. My only concern about Valhalla was that with the water on and boats cycling lots of people thought it was fully operational and the staff nearby were having a hard time stopping them and explaining the situation to them.
Great vlog guys, but the best woodie in the country is actually Big Dipper, not Grand Smashional! But I'm letting Wicker Man borrow that accolade for a while, until Dipper is ready to roll 😊

I am an app developer and I hate the idea behind ‘e-tickets’ for rides. I come to these places to get away from technology. Wristbands work fine. In terms of environment it’s all bs for cost saving. The systems and servers required for it cost way more energy than paper.

You picked the wrong day Scot. Park was dead today (Sunday). 15minute wait for big one on one train. Avalanche was back to the old entrance as well. Managed a quick chat with Andy Highgate, he seemed to think it will be the back end of May before dipper reopens. Don't like the new Valhalla music, just wishy washy nothingness.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is the worst theme park in the UK. Horrible miserable staff, old broken rides, too expensive, and long queues. Go to Alton Towers instead!
We don’t know what they have planned, so far everything that we have said is purely speculation. They may have a system in place behind the shutters that we haven’t been able to see

People who say Grand National is the best woody in the country are masochists... It has nostalgia, and used to be a great coaster... but it has had it's day and is now just horrible to ride.
Excellent coaster, maybe you can build up to it by riding Blue Flyer first and go from there 😊

You picked the wrong day Scot. Park was dead today (Sunday). 15minute wait for big one on one train. Avalanche was back to the old entrance as well. Managed a quick chat with Andy Highgate, he seemed to think it will be the back end of May before dipper reopens. Don't like the new Valhalla music, just wishy washy nothingness.
Glad to have been at Alton Towers today for mostly walk on coasters

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is the worst theme park in the UK. Horrible miserable staff, old broken rides, too expensive, and long queues. Go to Alton Towers instead!
